****, then I would have gotten served
Yeah... that never happens up north.
But the North has such a shameful history of the way they treated blacks. We shouldn't forget that. All those blacks you Northerners lynched during the draft riots. Just terrible. All the slavery.
So when people talk about how bad the South is I should remind them of how horrible they are, too.
I guess if your family owned slaves you would have issues. Maybe I would be ashamed of being from the South also if my family had owned slaves.Dude, I'm from the South.
I was born here, my family's from here, we've been here for centuries.
We owned slaves.
I know perfectly well how "blacks and whites get along in the South".

Texas is not "the South". You are from Texas. I am from "the South". Everything he said was completely true for "the South".
Blacks and whites get along better in the South than they do in the North. We are actually friends who get mad at each other and fight and go to weddings together and baby sit for each other. A lot of yankees have never even met a black person.

Oh, okay. We weren't part of the confederacy. We didn't secede from the united States in 1861 and join the confederacy. Half of my male ancestors didn't die in the civil war. There weren't 250,000 slaves in Texas in 1865, after the Union had already occupied Louisiana and Arkansas and freed the slaves there.
Slavery was not officially abolished in Texas on June 19, 1865.
That's why black Texans don't celebrate Juneteenth.
Yeah, that's it! You're a genius.
You don't know **** about Texas. It's gigantic.
The part I live in is pretty similar to Louisiana, Arkansas, or anywhere else in the South. I've been all through the South- through East Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
It's all the same ****.
Good post. Where do you live in Texas?
I edited it and added more insults.
Knowing what you know about me, I'll bet you can guess where i live.
Where would somebody like me live, in Texas?
Right as Eversharp.
Apparently you've never been to West Texas.

No wonder you voted for Palin.
Hey, I'll bet you think I can see Mexico's National Palace in the Plaza de la Constitución from my front yard. I'll bet you think I wave hello to President Calderón every morning.

I love Austin. It's gorgeous. My buddy lives in Bee Cave.

Thank you, Cap'n. :2wave:
He was talking to you.
I'm so sure.
Why don't you just ask him who he was talking to, instead of speaking for him?
Don't have to.
I suggest you get control of yourself somehow, before you end up taking an enforced vacation.
