He is suppose to be announcing tomorrow (or the next day) who will be his White House Chief of Staff.

Any predictions?

The only thing I can even remotely think of -- and it's way on a limb here -- is one of the Clintons. He did say to Clinton tonight that he looked forward to speaking to Hillary and Bill very soon.
 
If he wants to mend branches with the Clintons, it'll be Rahm.

If he wants to start out on a bipartisan foot, it won't.
 
Hmm Chief of Staff, how about David Plouffe? I love him even more than Barack now.

Wasn't someone rumored to be offered the job?

I forget his name, some Congressman from Illinois (House Member?). I know its not a senator, which means its not Dick Durbin.

It was being reported on MSNBC and CNN.

I don't know what I think of this pick. Whenever I have seen Emmanuel on a political show, I haven't been impressed with him....at all!

People talk about him as being incredibly savvy. Okay. We shall see.

What I do find interesting is that Boehner (sp?) criticizes Obama's choice, essentially stating that Obama didn't mean it when he said he would reach across the aisle, and yet Clinton was known for reaching across the aisle.

Personally, I think Boehner is an asswipe. Lindsey Graham was happy with the Emmanuel pick.
 

What do you except from someone who pronounces his name "bay-nor" (which is probably incorrect haha) when it looks like it should be "bo-ner" (which looks and sounds more correct to me). :mrgreen:
