Who stole the toilet?

I don't give a ****.

Sounds like a crappy thing to do.

I can't figure out how someone would get that thing out of Blenheim without being noticed.

Yes, it was an impressive job. Even getting into Blenheim past all the security apparatus would be a challenge, let alone schlepping a very weighty piece of sanitary ware. The artist who created it is quoted as hoping this was a 'Robin Hood' type of operation; frankly that's a naive wish, and it has most likely been melted down already.

If it wasn't a low-flow toilet, the suspects list could be legions.

This has Trump's 'taste' written all over it. Did he set up the heist to enrich Mar-a-lago? The title of the 'artwork', "America", is deliciously appropriate.

Blenheim Palace gold toilet theft 'like heist movie' - BBC News

The fully working toilet - entitled America - went on show at the 18th Century palace on Thursday as part of an exhibition by the Italian artist.

Visitors had been invited to book three-minute slots to use the throne for its intended purpose.

Was this "performance art"? I can't help thinking that the theft was an entirely appropriate ending for this artistic escapade.

Took the pot with a royal flush.

Plumbers who else would look like they belong in removing a toilet
