No, it isn't. Per my earlier post, if that were the goal, CA's bill would match the one in Washington requiring ICE agents to wear numbered insignia.

No, the CA bill's purpose is to give the anti-law enforcement rabble faces to photo and post on social media with the aim of getting tips for names and addresses.

Not unlike what Spike Lee tried to do with (the wrong) Zimmerman.
A number with no face to match could easily be changed. Trumps DOJ is that corrupt and would do that to protect the guilty.

No, it is actually the correct argument.
Do regular law enforcement officers wear masks to hide their identity? No they do not.
These guys are doing it to hide from accepting any consequences of their actions,

A photo of LA sheriffs:

... and of NYC cops:

... so the answer is "Yes, from coast to coast."

Law enforcement a dangerous job. It's part of the risk.
That statement is as ignorant as it is callous. There is no reason to expose these officers -- and their families -- to any more risk than is absolutely necessary.

No. They're lawless.

There is no reason to send them out to tear apart our families and communities.

This is what fighting tyranny is all about.

Nope. my dad was a cop for 30 years. He never hid behind a mask while arresting people.

Both pics seem to be of riot/ crowd control where gas may be used. Not ordinary arresting people on the street.
If a masked man in an unmarked car pulled you over how would you react?
No, neither group are wearing gas masks. These are police wearing gas masks:

You were simply wrong about local police not wearing masks. They sometimes do.
