Who gives people the authority to decide for others? In my world even parents have no say in that. They don´t own their children.

For me it would fit better when this thread would be in leisure activities rather than politics. Sex is private. The kids should be told in school how it works and what opportunities they have and than left alone. I cannot imagine the arrogance of people who want to tell others how, whom and when they are alowed to f*ck...

What? Is there some context to this?

Maybe you give the 14th amendment a whirl before you make another word salad like this.

I think she lives in Germany therefore probably doesn't have any idea about the 14th amendment. I don't know maybe things are different there with regard to this

It´s simply weird to me that sexuality is a "politic forum" here.
I´s always said Americans are so polite - seems not when they are on a politics forum
That’s what liberals do when they can’t argue facts.
They start throwing insults hoping to deflect from their inability to reason.

The short answer is government does, and when that's a democracy the answer is a majority of its citizens.

And in a sense, you're statement is wrong. Parents do have a level of ownership over their children. They get to make decisions for them, get to limit their freedom, and are even legally responsible for their behavior. All this is both morally and practically justified for one simple reason: children are not yet of legally sound mind. They cannot be relied upon to make decisions that are good for themselves or for others, so someone else must be responsible for them.

Is this reasoning really that strange to you?

I think you're confusing us with the Brits or the Canadians. Perhaps this can be said of Americans in the midwest, but certainly not here on the east coast. We're rather nasty at times.

I know a lot of children wich would do bettert than our politicians

Umm.... Okay

No clue what has you so riled up, but the answer is not all that complex.

In just about any society with any form of government, arguably even the most passive civil liberties based, will have some sort of influence into societal matters. It may not always be a direct or forceful mechanism of who cannot be with someone else but the influence is still there.

So, what do you really want to talk about here? This reads like something else is happening.

Coming from CLAX this is highly ironic given his daily word salad replies.

I´m two meters high, 200 pound in weight and quite hairy in my face... But if that was no mistake but should have been an insult: do as you want, I gladly will give the lady for you

Kids should be left alone, true.

Introducing adult sexual themes to young children damages them.

Such as teaching sex ed' to kids entering puberty? Abstinence themes don't work.
I said young children.

It is quite appropriate for older kids in puberty as long as the teacher involved doesn't get carried away with an agenda.

What are you talking about?

What possible agenda is there other than education and giving them the accurate tools they need to make good decisions in health and relationships?

Is teaching respect and tolerance for others now considered to be offensive?

Abstinence is the only birth control method that works 100% of the time.
Abstinence does not work because its not a reasonable solution to tell people to just ignore your hormones and not have sex. You might as well tell people who are obese to just don't eat. Simplistic solutions for complex problems are doomed to failure.

Are you sure that's what's being taught?

"This book is Gay" teaches young boys how to hook up with adult men for sex and "Gender Queer" includes an image of an underage boy performing fellatio.

Library books =/= textbooks.

We had Our Bodies, Ourselves that taught about sex in the 1970s but they weren't textbooks for sex ed class.

For the record...as an adult, you are free to **** or be ****ed by whoever (consenting adult) you like and I couldnt give the first ****.

Happy?
