The WH site is blue for the same reason DP is blue, because blue just works better for a website.
 
Well it wouldn't have mattered if McCain won.

McCain is losing his sight; and I heard that Palin still hasn't learned her colors yet (the campaign tried to spoon-feed that to her too.)
Turns out 'hockey moms' don't buy their kids crayola crayons.

(just watched some really sad Palin youtube clips...holy cow, did she even graduate college?!)
 
No one had ever heard of "red states" or "blue states" before 2000.

NBC, at least, used to color Republican states blue.
 
That website looked terrible in 2000. The internet was capable of a lot more even back then.

Let me paint a picture..

McCain is old. He is a technophobe. He no usea de Internets. So why pay for something you dont use? After all he is suppose to be a cost cutting spend with in your means Conservative after all!!

That clear enough for you? Yes it was a joke.. something you laugh at.. I know it might be alien to you but normal people love to laugh.
 
Blue has been a White House color for more than 100 years; White House letterhead and calling cards have traditionally been printed using blue ink.
