White House Unveils Plans for $200 Million East Wing Ballroom

Any parent who has looked for a venue for their daughter's wedding, knows you look for a place that can accommodate all festivities in one room.
In DC through much of the year due to weather, it is impossible to hold much outside but rather a limited list of guests inside. Anytime they hold something outside, they have to haul in port-a-potties to accommodate the guests.

This ballroom will allow all future presidents to welcome leaders of foreign countries and their entourage be accommodated along with the press. A luncheon always follows, and it can all be done in one room. Events during the holidays limit the guest lists at this time but with a new ballroom many will allow to attend.

The East Room has a 200-person capacity.

Why does even the WH guest list need to be higher then that?

The only people bitching about this even though it isn't going to cost them a dime are FUBAR.
