A pedo defending and pardoning a pedo. Watch!

Maggots will be like "this is a good call" This is what I voted for.

NEW YORK - The White House is reportedly in contact with Sean "Diddy" Combs’s legal team to discuss the possibility of a presidential pardon, according to a new report from TMZ.

Diddy was acquitted on the three major charges and convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the interstate transportation of prostitutes.

Sources tell TMZ that President Donald Trump is "more than open" to pardoning the embattled music mogul. However, any decision may hinge on how the judge rules on Diddy’s most recent bail petition.

What they're saying:

If bail is granted, Trump is expected to wait until after sentencing to decide whether to move forward with a pardon, the outlet reported. But if bail is denied, the former president could make a decision on a pardon immediately.

The high-profile legal case has generated widespread attention, and a presidential pardon would mark a significant political and cultural development.

I called it last year:

which is remarkable since the average poster is correct maybe 50% of the time, and my percentage is much lower, so this is good news indeed.

Has no one on Team Taco enough balls to tell him that if nothing else this would be extremely bad optics?

The talks are serious. Diddy's people have upped the offer to $5 million.

(not a fact, just a joke....for now)

I'm beginning to think there's no way this is organic. This has to be some form of humiliation ritual.

For years, conservative commentators went on about how there is a satanic child raping cult running the country and blackmailing high level political influencers.

And then all of this stuff comes out with popular actors like Spacey, Weinstein, Epstein, Maxwell, Trump(?), etc.

And instead of taking that for what it is as some vague form of vindication, they choose to... rehabilitate all of these people and reintroduce them into the public conscience? It's a constant reminder that no matter how lowly I think of the Republican rube class, it isn't lowly enough.

The article is devoid on one factoid - "Why?".

There's no explanation as to 'why', a pardon is considered?

Gut feeling tells me that there wont be a pardon.
This is trump asking for headlines (good or bad)

I can think of two excellent reasons why Trump is doing this:

1) To combat the overly excessive use of the 'E' word

and:

2) To increase black support

Yep. My overarching question, not contained in the OP article, is 'why'? Why is a pardon considered?

BTW - Late the other night you left me a great response in the 'One Liberal Takes On Twenty Conservatives' thread. I saved it in a tab for later, but apparently closed it. It was a great post, and if I get the time I'll dig it up and respond. Thanks for your response, there.

Rationale #2 could backfire with the intended audience.

If you think equating me with the 'lowly rube class' is insulting, it has the opposite effect.

It is a badge I will wear with honor.

Not nearly that complicated. Trump the self-professed *****-grabber, feels an affinity for other ***** grabbers. He doesn't like all the accusations of impropriety against himself so to punish the world he'll say **** you, I'm gonna pardon as many high-profilesex pests as I can.

Same reasoning went into his picks of Gaetz and Hegseth for cabinet roles. His instinct is to roll with pervs.

Maybe, but it doesn't feel natural. Something is very unsettling about Candace Owens rehabilitating Harvey Weinstein, or Tucker with Spacey - two hardcore liberals, no less!

It's very possible they're just that contrarian and retarded, but it feels like something more is there.

I'll go with contrarian. They make their money by making noise.

But in Trump's case it's simpler. He just loves him some other pervs.
