I am looking for more answers here myself.
You have a better, more viable reason, son? Submit it with references.
Oh sorry he said viable reason with references, not rehashed political propaganda that has no basis in reality.oooh, ooooh, I do!...pick me, pick me....
Obama, much like Carter aligns himself with the arab muslim, anti colonial, anti Jew, socialist mind set.
It couldn't be more clear.

Its no wonder that foreign policy is going down the tubes, nobody is really capable of thinking beyond the domestic realm. Its all about using whatever situation exists to attack/support Obama depending on which side you are on.
Lets look a little reality: despite the revolution, Egypt is still run by the military. Receiving aid money bolsters their local authority and buys us their goodwill. Not sending aid would actually be the Islamists benefit.
Basically we are spending 1.5 billion in return for a decent shot of Egypt remaining somewhat friendly.
As an added bonus the money is sent back to the U.S. so local industry gets a boost as well.
Now you can complain the whole process is hideously corrupt (and you would be correct), but that is the standard U.S. policy for dealing with this sort of situation. There are plenty of valid criticisms about the whole process, but whining about we are supporting the Muslim brotherhood when we are doing just the opposite is simply wrong.
Their position on the Israeli peace treaty is clear they said they will not honor it.
The motto of the MB:
"God is our objective; the Quran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations."
The MB is an overtly radical, anti-western, and imperialistic organization.
And they are the more liberal Muslim party and a political reality. They also would never have existed had it not been... Nvm you won't care so I won't bother. Point is, over the last 50 years or so, the MB had liberalized and Israel had become more hardline. As a county, we need to so being apologist for both parties and disengage from that conflict.
The constitution can say whatever it wants, the generals retain the actual power. The military is making concessions to popular demands for democracy, but that is merely for appearances sake.

 Um no the military is able to have the power which they currently wield due to the current wording of their Constitution once the Constitution is changed they will have to work within that legal framework as well once the Constitution is ratified the military will no longer control Egypt but rather will become a tool within the MB and Salafist government.
Liberal compared to what? Do they only want to kill half of the gays, apostates, and adulterers? Do they only want to conquer half of the world through offensive Jihad? Do they only want half of the Koran to be the new Egyptian Constitution? Just what in the hell by any reasonable definition of the word makes them liberal?
The military in Egypt is not under civilian control.
If the generals wanted to coup the government, the soldiers would follow their orders and to hell with whatever the constitution says.
They respect democratic ideals such as allowing women to have equal rights,
popular elected governments,
not staying unnecessary wars etc
It was until Mubarak stepped down, the Generals answered to him just as they will answer to the next president within the constitutional framework established by the MB and the Salafists.
The military has been working within the current legal framework under the present Constitution just as they will with the next Constitution.
Complete and utter lie proven by their overt support of Sharia law.
Complete and utter lie proven by their support of the Koran as the Constitution.
Complete and utter lie proven by the fact that they have stated they will not respect the peace treaty with Israel and from their long standing motto "Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations."
In fact everything you have just stated is completely contradicted by their motto:
"God is our objective; the Quran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations."
Sound moderate to you? Sound like democratic values to you? Honestly I don't know where you people come up with this utter nonsense.
You don't know enough about the history of the MB just what you've been spoon fed.
Open a book and read.
MB is fairly liberal.
Both Egypt and Jordan are among the largest recipients of US foreign aid - and the reason is obvious.KUNA : White House releases USD 1.5 bln aid to Egypt, meets Brotherhood figures - Politics - 05/04/2012
I have given the POTUS the benefit of the doubt for the majority of his term in office, but if there is one thing I can not support it is the funding of theocratic groups who support barbarism and oppression straight out of the 7th century which is exactly what the POTUS has done by releasing this $1.5 Billion in U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Qutbist/Salafist ruled Egyptian government.
Obama probably thinks he's buying some measure of protection.
For someone everyone says is so smart, he seems rather dumb to me...kind of like Chamberlain was.
You may make that comparison if you would like, but it's a little bit of a stretch for me at this point and time seeing as we haven't had any amount of time or actual legislative action to judge the true motives of the elected representatives themselves.
Supporting a dictator no matter how benevolent to Israel, is no more virtuous than supporting rebels, radicals, or whatever you may wish to label them as.
My 2nd statement comes from the OP, as to my fist statement:
Brotherhood" Invited To Obama Speech By U.S.
By Marc Ambinder
"Brotherhood" Invited To Obama Speech By U.S. - Marc Ambinder - Politics - The Atlantic
As to the original title of the OP it is purely a statement of fact given landslide victories of the Qutbists and the Salafists in the Egyptian elections.
Oh - so it's an anonymous quote on a blog? Well alright. No source then. Your claim remains unsupported.
