Well going by those first 6 pages......I did. So again it has no bearing at that point. Just sayin!
LOL....American was the first one to MAKE THE COMPARISON......and you wingers continued on with the comparison......which is part of the point Verax made! The fake outrage here from the left over Valerie Plame is nothing more than diversion from the incompetence of this Administration. This person was a station chief in Afghanistan and Plame was a desk jockey in Va. I wonder what it is about the education system in this country especially for liberals who over a decade later still cannot get over GW Bush and still want to equate what happened with a station chief to what happened to a desk jockey. Wow is a good word to describe liberals and their thought process.

FFS.....you can't make this stuff up!

You should not be talking about the educational system in this country, because you're dead wrong. I DO understand his post, the issue is YOU DON'TYou can disagree with his opinion, but for gawds sake, at the very least....UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT.

Who is "being silent"? I swear, it is as if you can't be bothered to read or comprehend the already posted arguments. Why do you wingers rely so much on what you imagine is said instead of actually reading, understanding and bringing clear, concise counter-argument?There is a very good comparison between the two cases, the faked outrage by liberals over Plame and the silence now. Libby had his life destroyed and Armitage resigned along with millions of dollars spent in the prosecution. Not surprising that the double standards continue especially by hyper partisans like you
Still as a covert agent at the time of Novak's article.....already posted.Working behind a desk in Va. Better check your information
Comment:
The incompetent Obama White House throws another person under the bus. This isn't the first time that the Obama White House has outed out someone, they outed out a British intelligence informant for political gain back in 2012. Not to mention >"The identities of at least three CIA station chiefs in Pakistan have been exposed in recent years. In one case, a CIA officer became a target of death threats after his cover was blown, forcing the agency to rush him out of the country."<
White House mistakenly identifies CIA chief in Afghanistan
>" The CIA’s top officer in Kabul was exposed Saturday by the White House when his name was inadvertently included on a list provided to news organizations of senior U.S. officials participating in President Obama’s surprise visit with U.S. troops.
The White House recognized the mistake and quickly issued a revised list that did not include the individual, who had been identified on the initial release as the “Chief of Station” in Kabul, a designation used by the CIA for its highest-ranking spy in a country.
The disclosure marked a rare instance in which a CIA officer working overseas had his cover — the secrecy meant to protect his actual identity — pierced by his own government..."<

I've only read the two posts you quoted of me but, what you said is exactly right. How it is not clear to the others is baffling.
What happened to personal responsibility, Conservative? Libby lied to the FBI, and that's why Patrick Fitzgerald was put on the case. He did it to himself. There is a very good comparison between the two cases, the faked outrage by liberals over Plame and the silence now. Libby's life was destroyed....because he lied to a fed prosecutor......and what else was Armitage to do when he spoke to multiple reporters about classified documents? He did not do it because of an accident, nor did Rove or Libby or Fleischer.

As I said earlier, she was transitioning from being a covert operative.
That's a dodge.Libby went to jail so apparently that isn't taking personal responsibility. Where is the personal responsibility for anyone in this Administration
That's a dodge again.Libby went to jail so apparently that isn't taking personal responsibility. Where is the personal responsibility for anyone in this Administration
I can name a few WH staff fired, I cannot find ANY evidence of the current VP office carrying out a smear campaign against a CIA agent because her husband wrote about Admin lies leading us into a false, illegal invasion, wasting TRILLIONS in tax dollars, causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents while destroying their nation, the deaths of thousands of US service personnel, and blowing up the US debt.Point, Libby went to jail and Armitage resigned. Name for me one, just one Obama official who has been prosecuted or lost their job because of what they did? Where is the accountability in this Administration and where is that promised transparency. IRS, Benghazi, VA, Afghanistan station chief, Stimulus failure and yet we have people still supporting this incompetent Administration including people like you. Says a lot about you
That's a dodge.
That's a dodge again.
among other things, yes. i support hiring people to build roads and bridges, renewable energy power generation, more nuclear power plants, and a vastly upgraded electrical grid.
there's stuff that desperately needs done and a lot of people desperately trying to get into or stay in the middle class. it just makes good sense.
You don't know that, could not know that.Plame spent most of her CIA career in Langley behind a desk. Doubt she was in any danger there compared to the CIA station chief outed.
You don't know that, could not know that.
FITZGERALD: Before I talk about those charges and what the indictment alleges, I'd like to put the investigation into a little context.
Valerie Wilson was a CIA officer. In July 2003, the fact that Valerie Wilson was a CIA officer was classified. Not only was it classified, but it was not widely known outside the intelligence community.
Valerie Wilson's friends, neighbors, college classmates had no idea she had another life.
FITZGERALD: The fact that she was a CIA officer was not well- known, for her protection or for the benefit of all us. It's important that a CIA officer's identity be protected, that it be protected not just for the officer, but for the nation's security.
Valerie Wilson's cover was blown in July 2003. The first sign of that cover being blown was when Mr. Novak published a column on July 14th, 2003.
But Mr. Novak was not the first reporter to be told that Wilson's wife, Valerie Wilson, Ambassador Wilson's wife Valerie, worked at the CIA. Several other reporters were told.
In fact, Mr. Libby was the first official known to have told a reporter when he talked to Judith Miller in June of 2003 about Valerie Wilson.
Now, something needs to be borne in mind about a criminal investigation.
Yes, That Libby did it to himself by lying to the FBI.
