April Ryan spreading FAKE NEWS about Trump

I wonder if they will bar her from the news room?

President Donald Trump raised eyebrows Thursday afternoon when he asked a black reporter at a free-wheeling press conference to arrange a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus.

“Do you want to set up the meeting?" Trump asked April Ryan, the White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks. “Are they friends of yours?

Yep. He also mentioned repeatedly and vehemently that he had made numerous reach out attempts to the CBC directly and they refused to meet him. You know exactly like how Maxine Waters and John Lewis said. Whom am I going to believe? Black members of Congress who have repeatedly said they refuse to meet with Trump or Trump who has made more outreach efforts to Blacks than Any Republican candidate in decades. You can say that Trump was awkward, but you can't say the efforts weren't there. You know what's not there? Black Congressmembers attempting to reach out to Trump. I don't know why the CBC is so beholden to HILLARY CLINTON, but it's not like Trump hasn't made it clear that he wants to help in any way he can.

It wasn't fake news. She said she was paraphrasing and that he "meant" white people. That's how she heard it.

I can see why she thought that, and heard it that way. She took it to mean "we...the hard right Trump voters who are against P.C.," who are white.

I don't know what he meant, since I can't read his mind, and since he wasn't clear. He may have meant hard right Trump voters (who are white), but he may have meant we, the average American (which would include all races).

But what she said is not intentionally misleading. I can see how she genuinely took it to mean that, and she SAID that she took his words to mean that. She did not say he actually said that.

And?

Are you not aware to what was being referred?

The veteran Washington journalist, however, appeared to be a bit more than a chronicler of current events during last year’s presidential campaign. Emails pilfered from Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta’s email account and published in the fall by WikiLeaks suggest a rather chummy relationship between Ryan and the Clinton camp.

At one point, she even suggested a meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

“FYI I also just talked with Marcia Fudge and Sheila Jackson Lee,” she wrote on April 18, 2015, referring to representatives from Ohio and Texas, respectively. “Also, Lets make the black reporters meeting happen asap.”

WikiLeaks Exposed April Ryan as More Than ‘Just a Reporter’

And wtf do you think this is, a tit for tat session?

How about actually addressing her absurd assumption about what Trump said, you know, the actual topic of discussion?

So since she cant read his mind she figured she would make an assumption and run with it whether it was true or not. close enough to fake news to me.

No it was an false assumption on her part.
And she clearly said that was what he meant.

You have to be very racist to think that Trump was referring to white people when he made that comment. And we should not have to add something about meaning white, black, red, yellow, brown, whenever you mention "we". If Obama talked about "We should always be hopeful" or whatever I would NEVER assume that he was talking about Black people.
"We, the People" refers to ALL races. No need to modify it.
And it is bigoted to assume that Trump supporters are racists or would assume that Trump was only referring to white people.
Trump was clear in what he stated.

How's that Trump Birth Certificate Investigation coming is Hawaii?

Wow...that is quite the stretch...are you suggesting the Orangatan was remembering some very obscure "pilfered email" when he was speaking to Ryan?
Orangatan? Really? A childish pejorative? Figures. Just bow out quietly, your comment indicated their is no semblance of objectivity in your position.

OMG! iLOL! now, after NOT answering, not showing how this CRAZY implication that the Orangatan was thinking about this obscure email when he called on Ryan is a viable argument....yer now going to play the hypocritical "yer argument is not OBJECTIVE" card?

Seriously?

Wow! iLOL!

Your comment indicated their was no semblance of objectivity in your position, why would I continue after that when you should instead bow out quietly? Huh?

But just because I like you ... Yes, unlike her asinine assumption, it is a safe assumption that it was obviously what he was referring to.
Do you really think it was just a coincidence instead?

It is laughable coming from someone whose every post shows a complete lack of "objectivity". Especially when they believe the Orangatan knows about, let alone remembers this obscure "pilfered" email. I have no idea why I have to keep repeating this point....but I do, it seems to be necessary.

But just because I like you
No, don't say that ...
Yes it is obviously that was what he was referring to.
It would have been "obvious"....if he mentioned it.
Do you really think it was just a coincidence?
A coincidence....of what? Do you believe the other reporters in the room "raised their eyebrows" in reaction to the Orangatans comment...because they too remembered this obscure "pilfered " email?

iLOL!

What was wrong with that?

:lamo "Complete lack of objectivity" from someone who calls the President of the United States an orangutan. Now THAT'S hilarious!!

1. What does that have to do with this topic?

2. If you would like start such a discussion please feel free to do so, or better yet, address that in a thread that already exists regarding that issue.
Hows that? If you do, I will make sure to get there and explain to you that no one has standing to challenge whether or not he was a Constitutionally qualified natural born Citizen. Okay?

Yep, there you go again.
No objectivity and being dishonest to boot. Figures.

Obscure? Hilarious. It is like you don't think that Trump's staff was all over those emails when released.

Regardless, you have had no point since you showed your bias.
Even reinoe's comment showed you are ignorant of the other available information surrounding this issue.

OMG! Um, big D, I never made a claim to being "objective" in this matter....THIS IS POLITICS....it is simply beyond the pale for xcon to object with an argument....about "objectivity"....EVER. There is not much in the world that can be seen as more hypocritical than that.

Because they believe there is only so much pie, and they want their share. They have no concept of economic growth. They got good paying jobs and that's all they care about.

I'm sure his staff was, that was hot stuff straight from Putin. The point was, your point was, that it is "obvious" it was something the Orangatan remembers. He can't remember if Sweden was experiencing terrorist attacks the next day at a rally. You can't be serious.

Regardless, you have had no point since you showed your bias.
Oh my gawd, again with this play acting about a desire for objectivity....this is so absurd when posted by you in your hand. Good grief.
Even reinoe's comment showed you are ignorant of the other available information surrounding this issue.
I'm ignorant...because he brought up something I watched...live on air? I know he danced by repeating over and over his desire to meet the CBC....so what else you got? I'm still waiting for this "obvious" proof you have that he knew about these "pilfered" obscure emails....that many reporters raised their eyebrows about...when the Orangatan made his comment.

Obviously, in his speech Trump didn't mean "they" built America....so who are the "they" that Trump was referring to in the video (1:09)?

What was wrong with that?

It's a Republican reaching out to Blacks and the Dems know that they haven't done anything for the Black community in nearly 40 years.

What? He did not say "they" @01:09.
