How Trump tariffs are lowering food prices in Brazil, Mexico
Another side effect of US tariffs. While everything is getting more expensive in the US, in Brazil and Mexico prices are trending downward. This is because with the US buying less, there is now an oversupply of food in their domestic markets which pushes prices down. Good for the consumers, but bad for the farmers.Maybe Amerícans close to the border in the future travels to Mexico for groceries.
