Which states will get hurt the most related to renewable energy.

So-called renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels, so it doesn't need subsidies or tax credits:

Like fossil fuels haven't been subsidized. Go back to complaining about unions and building codes.

And yet I can remember not long ago the gop and its supporters saying the exact opposite, green energy is more expensive than fossil fuel.

Interesting.
The green energy initiative has been lower because tax dollars were paying for a large part of it. This means taxpayers were sublimenting the renewable energy and now they will not be if they are not in operation by next year.
To say it's going to cost more is misleading, the cost is the same but the government isn't going to be paying for 30-40% of it any longer. So my tax dollars are not going there.
Based on actions taken by the Trump administration, a Yahoo Finance report indicates that the 30% tax credit for wind and solar projects will be significantly phased out, now requiring projects to begin construction within a year or be operational by the end of 2027 to qualify, according to Yahoo Finance. An analysis by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) suggests that these changes could lead to a 41% decrease in US clean energy installations compared to previous projections.
In addition, The Hill reports that incentives for green projects have been rolled back, leading to the cancellation of green projects totaling an estimated $22 billion. (AI)

They're going towards drill baby drill, who needs a clean environment?

Wow - between 60% to 350% for OK by 2035!
There is no real indication that these numbers are accurate and that this will happen, typical scare tactics from the left.
The left exaggerates the affordability and reliability of renewable energy to justify government subsidies, according to the House Committee on the Budget (.gov). They contend that policies promoting green energy restrict the use of more affordable fossil fuels and lead to higher energy costs for consumers. Furthermore, some critiques suggest that relying on subsidies distorts energy markets, hindering competition and efficient resource allocation. (AI)

Guess we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I'm glad I don't live in OK.

The only reason there is a benefit to renewables is the U.S government is supplementing renewable energy. Without that aid, it would be sky high. I chose not to support my tax dollars going to a damned fool proposition that otherwise can't survive.

I suspect liberals are the same people who believe in perpetual motion machines. It's that sort of lack of critical thinking that would get them to believe government provides "free" stuff at no cost to anyone ever and that mean Republicans just turn off the Free Stuff Generator because they're mean and hate poor people.

This probably seems important to you.

What's important to me is that 9 red states just got shafted.

Heavy subsidies perturb free market forces so much that even getting a good accounting of the situation is next to impossible. That's what we have with green energy. As much as people tout green energy being cheaper notice that your energy bill never seen that savings unless you yourself is sponging off those subsidies. In the end people mortgaged 10-20 year solar contracts and they're stuck with the bill long after the green shyster disappeared to find the next victim.

Government economic support for fossil fuels dwarfs the subsidies and tax credits for renewables. Look at these U.S. federal benefits for fossil fuels:

Intangible Drilling Costs Deduction (26 U.S. Code § 263. for decades
Percentage Depletion (26 U.S. Code § 613
Foreign Tax Credit (26 U.S. Code § 901. on
Master Limited Partnerships (Internal Revenue Code § 7704. (most are fossil fuel companies) for decades
Domestic Manufacturing Deduction (IRC §199)
DOE Advanced Fossil Loan Programs Office
Between 2010 and 2017, the Department of Energy provided $2.66 billion to support 794 advanced fossil energy research and development projects
United States Export-Import Bank
$14.8 billion dollars in grants and loans for 78 projects in the petroleum sector (2001 – 2018).

A 2017 study by the consulting firm Management Information us Services, Inc., in a report to the Nuclear Energy Institute, estimated the total historical federal subsidies for various energy sources over the years 1950–2016. The study found that oil, natural gas, and coal received $414 billion, $140 billion, and $112 billion (2015 dollars), respectively, or 65% of total energy subsidies over that period. Oil, natural gas, and coal benefited most from percentage depletion allowances and other tax-based subsidies.
