Which state are you from?

Born in Colorado (near Telluride) and have been in and out of the state since I was little. I have been back since around 2002. The military took to see some far-off places.

When asked on forms for "State", I often put "altered". For "Sex", I put "Yes!"

A state of blissful ignorance.

Born and raised in Central Arkansas, mostly rural areas in and around Hot Springs in the Ouachitas.

I am fortunate to have grown up in a beautiful place.

As an adult, I lived in Memphis for a year, then moved up to Kansas City. I have been in the KC area for 25 years now. We live on the Kansas side. I think I am the only one in my family to ever live outside the South.

I am very jealous of all the wonderful BBQ places you get to enjoy. Up here I have to make my own if I want some lol.

I was born in Richlands, VA...Tazewell County...we moved to the Roanoke VA. area when I was 5...this is home...
Good for you, Daisy. From 1988-1993, I called Roanoke home. I lived in the Summit apartments south on 220 across from Hunting Hills, when they were brand new. I had a killer view of the valley at night. The longer I’ve been away, the more I realize what a great place the Roanoke Valley was in which to live.

For my job, I traveled Southwest Virginia and the southwest 2/3 of West Virginia. So I’m a little familiar with Richlands, Tazewell, Honaker, and even up US 460 to Grundy. I drove those routes many times. Quite the memories. I worked long hours on that territory, and getting from point A to point B was never easy.

Why do candidate say "the voices of American people" at election time when winners are based on the electoral college cancelling out the will of voters?

...because "the voices of the swing voters in the swing states" is not as charming a phrase.

I was born a rather well-off Cuban child in Havana. Dad was an electrical engineer. Arrived Kennedy airport February of '65. My mom said she'd never seen trees without leaves. Usual immigrant story from there. I like to travel so I've been around this fine country, Hawaii, Phoenix, Daytona Beach, Pacific Coast Highway from LA to Portland. Like that.

In order: Michigan, Ohio, West by god Virginia, Maryland, California.
