Whether or not keeping a gun in your home makes your home safer depends on who it is that's keeping a gun in their home. It depends on the person keeping the gun, its that simple.

My gun makes it unsafe for people or animals entering my house unannounced. Especially at night when I'm asleep. I don't like being woken up like that.

It's hardly unfettered. There are background checks when guns are legally purchansed.

Incorrect, and we need one federal standard for these things otherwise there is no gun control.

And Im somebody who can and does keep guns safely and responsibly in the home, so therefore there is no reason why my access to guns should be denied.

I don’t know that your access would be denied under a fed standard.

And?

And some people like to claim how keeping a gun in your home makes it twenty, thirty, whatever how many times more likely for you or a family member to die by a gun, Im pointing out that such a claim is false as it really depends on the person not the gun.

Agreed. 👍

So someone like you, would be unsafe, wheras some newbie who'd lock the gun away in a safer, would be safer.

the federal government doesn't have that power.

Said every idiot who ever accidentally shot themselves or a loved one before they did it.

You might as well have said, "whether or not Drunk Driving is safe depends on who is doing the driving." or, "I can handle doing 20 over the speed limit because I'm a good driver and I know how to handle my car."

All dumbass statements. Everyone believes they're being safe enough until it's too late. Everyone.

if you are afraid to own a gun and use it responsibly, then I commend you for not owning a gun. But stop pretending you know what is better for us

What is the part of the constitution that empowers the federal government to do that.

Federal government regulates all kinds of weapons. No reason guns should be exempt.

What's "good for you is to rid yourself of your guns

The evidence is clear on that.

you don't seem to understand the concept of the constitution

you don't seem to understand the concept of the constitution

You didn’t know the difference between libel and slander the other day, hard pass on your constitutional hot takes.

depends on the medium. that is not a constitutional issue whether it is by speech or written word. What you clearly don't understand is federal powers concerning firearms

If someone can legally own a gun amd wants one in their house it is their choice. If someone doesn't that's also their choice. Let people choose for themselves
when it comes to CHOICE, many liberals are extremely narrow minded as to what that applies to

depends on the medium

Right, you didn’t know which was which.

So guns: nothing in the constitution prohibits fed regulation. No such thing as unfettered rights.
