How much COVID money is being used to serve tax payers?

COVID spending is 41k/taxpayer ... the article strongly suggests that money has been misappropriated.... what do you think? How much COVID money is being used to serve tax payers?
Over and over we hear there is only 10% of the Covid relief plan that actually goes toward Covid relief. The rest is largely wasteful pork to democrat supporters.According to the article in the following link: https://fee.org/articles/federal-co...er-taxpayer-did-you-see-that-much-in-benefit/

What a surprise! Libertarian think tank doesn't like government spending. Up next on tonight's news, dog bites man.According to the article in the following link: https://fee.org/articles/federal-co...er-taxpayer-did-you-see-that-much-in-benefit/

Here is the fact:Republicans say it’s a pork-stuffed wish list that’s being opportunistically rammed through a Democrat-controlled Congress.
That has led to all manner of claims on social media, including the following post from Feb. 27: “9% of the 1.9 TRILLION dollar package is going to the American people,” it said on a background of poop emojis. “Nine percent.”
The poster who made the claim did not provide any evidence in an exchange of messages with USA TODAY. Nearly identical posts made the same claim at least four other times between Feb. 26 and March 1.
This is from Politicfact:All told, about 15% of the proposal goes to “long-standing policy priorities that are not directly related to the current crisis,” said the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization formed to educate the public on federal budget issues.
While a lot of the proposed spending doesn’t directly go toward combating COVID, that doesn’t mean it’s not related to the coronavirus.
A significant portion is designed to offer economic relief to businesses and people affected by the pandemic.
Then you are listening to the wrong source.Over and over we hear there is only 10% of the Covid relief plan that actually goes toward Covid relief. The rest is largely wasteful pork to democrat supporters.
But what authoritative source is there? Do we have any way to KNOW where the money is going? Then you are listening to the wrong source.
The proof will be in govt documents. You'll notice that 45 hasn't released almost anything about where the first set of PPP loans went. Hopefully President Biden's administration will be more forthcoming. If govt dept's don't release documents, FOIA requests can be filed. But what authoritative source is there? Do we have any way to KNOW where the money is going?
So ... since congress passed the legislation shouldn't it be up to congress to "release" information on how the money is spent? How does the president's admin factor into public responsibility? The proof will be in govt documents. What we hear is wrong. The $1400 checks are $435 billion. Do the math. 435/1900 is more than 10% on that item alone.Over and over we hear there is only 10% of the Covid relief plan that actually goes toward Covid relief. The rest is largely wasteful pork to democrat supporters.
Y'all "hear" lots of things. Problem is that it's all lies told to you, no basis in reality. But everything they tell you becomes canon.Over and over we hear there is only 10% of the Covid relief plan that actually goes toward Covid relief. The rest is largely wasteful pork to democrat supporters.

No, that's what you hear over and over because you and right-wing propaganda are one. Allow me:
This 10% falsehood, based on the Tedd Budd "9%" lie, has been debunked:
Here is the fact:
This is from Politicfact:
So, roughly 85% of this is COVID related. The GOP is most guilty of this lie because instead of disabusing what they know is a lie and harmful to American unity, they will allow you to drown in ignorance for your vote. This is the part where you tune completely the **** out, turn FOX News on for comfort, and continue to promote lies for whatever you have attached your partisan soul to.
The money was all spent upgrading area 51.
They now have the world's nicest break room.
- The package designates $350 billion for states, cities, tribal governments and U.S. territories.
- The bill adds a $10 billion infrastructure program to help local governments continue crucial capital projects.
- The bill makes all coronavirus-related student loan relief tax-free.
- The bill increases the total amount of Amtrak relief funding by $200 million.
Love it! Great solid fact there!!!What we hear is wrong. The $1400 checks are $435 billion. Do the math. 435/1900 is more than 10% on that item alone.
Those monies are released by the Dept of the Treasury, an executive branch department. So ... since congress passed the legislation shouldn't it be up to congress to "release" information on how the money is spent? How does the president's admin factor into public responsibility?
lol ... Good point, better humor, but ... I care about what kind of future I leave to the next generation, and ... I eat a healthy diet and am trying to age as gracefully as possible ... if that means a little less dessert then ... so be it!what's wrong with pork? I love bacon. eat all you want and it will kill you later, just like government debt. but it sure tastes good right now!!
besides, all those checks will end up at Walmart, where I own stock.
