There are good reasons for the sanctions against Russia and Putin. Now this friend of Trump (Kingston) says it is time to end the sanctions. There is growing info that the Russians helped to sway voters in favor of Trump. Trump by all means does not want an investigation to be done out of fear that people will perceive him as an illegitimate president. Aside from his business dealings with the Russians, he is heavily in debt to their banks.

In the old country people perceive Trump as having more concern with his family's business dealings.
Trump shows little interest in intelligence briefings. The Chinese have openly referred to him as being child-like.

Childlike isn't far from the truth.

Trump was never a patriot, but I never doubted his desire to protect the republic. Well, until now.

Not just because of this, but more due to his whole mindless, idiotic routine of faux isolationism and total lack of competence on foreign policy. Something both the right and left have noticed. It all makes me uneasy.

Doesn't mean Trump or any of the members of his clown cars are traitors though.
