Anyone know?

Are they being held hostage or something?

The debt always goes up under GOP presidents, but suddenly it just ceases to be a problem, because it's only wrong when the Democrats does it.

But there are Republicans on this very board that SWORE that it was the most important issue for them and they didn't care WHO was in office.

They always say that, then they end up spending way more than Democrats every time. Because they simply don't know the meaning of the words fiscally responsible.

The cumulative fiscal year 2025 deficit was $1.3 trillion at the end of June—1% lower than the same time last year after adjusting for timing effects. Revenues increased by 7% and outlays increased by 5% from last fiscal year.

Most of this year has been funding from the previous administration. In fact pretty much all of it has because the new fiscal year doesn't begin until October.

So debt is increasing?

I swore (as told by MAGA) that debt was going to destroy our kids and grandkids (at least while Biden was President).

Is everything better now that Trump is President?
