There is an old saying in this country. I hate what you are saying, but will die to ensure your right to say it. I am getting tired of seeing people shot and killed in this country for exercising their right to say what they think. I did not like anything that Kirk stood for, but no one, and I mean no one had the right to stop him from saying it. We do not know who did the shooting, but whoever did it probably did more harm to their ideas, left or right, than anything Kirk could do or say.

Gun violence is horrific.
But it has become acceptable.
We have collectively, as a nation, decided that some level of murder is an acceptable price
to pay in exchange for gun rights, according to our current interpretation of the 2A.
Unless and until we elect leadership that will change that, the killing will continue.

Once we NORMALIZED Sandy Hook----------there is no chance that anything will change.

Who was against change after Sandy Hook??? = MAGA

Who has no respect for law and order = MAGA (as evidenced by Jan 6 & the pardons, and elected a convicted criminal)

Make no mistake---Kirk was no martyr or hero, but rather a 'cause'....................................However, I feel for his family.

Gun violence is horrific.
Someone commits an intentional act killing somebody and you blame an object.
But it has become acceptable.
Lots of things that are horrific are acceptable.

Yeah freedom is risky. I would say being able to move about freely is probably a greater risk of death than having firearms but they're not willing to give up that right are you
Unless and until we elect leadership that will change that, the killing will continue.
On purpose don't do anything to actually focus on the people doing it because we want to make it about objects.

This isnt gun violence it is political assassination and domestic terrorism.

Reminds me of of all the people who shrugged off presidents being shot and congressional baseball games being targeted.

Until those people and those that support them are excluded from society, these things will continue to happen.

The left blames an object because they know the guy who pulled the trigger is one of their own.

Too many knives floating around. Until we get strict knife control in this country, the killing will not stop.

We didn't normalize that.

Change meaning surrender all your rights no you can kill me and I won't do that.

So he deserves to die because of guns?

I think it's really because they want to believe people are inherently good and gun ownership is like a corrupting Force.

I think you are being much, much too charitable.

Right because it's the guns doing it not the people using them that makes all the sense in the world.
It actually does make sense.

Sit down!
