All jobs are temporary in nature. Eliminating a project that would’ve employed 11,000 is eliminating 11,000 and in addition it will be cost of us jobs that would’ve come from exporting the Canadian oil in Louisiana.Untrue, job loss is expected to be less than 1,000. The 11,000 was the number of jobs that the company said they hoped to see created someday and most would be temporary in nature. Not saying that 1,000 jobs aren't important, they are, but it' s not 11,000.
Fact check: Is Biden really 'destroying 11,000 jobs' over Keystone pipeline?

I'm wondering who pays for Biden's Depends diapers.Him or the taxpayers.
That's because he physically can't.
My point has more to do with how what people say is spun to fit a political narrative. Unfortunately, most Trumpers would never think of looking beyond what Fox or Newsmax tells them is true. 11,000 people did NOT lose their jobs. At best they may have lost an opportunity at a hoped-for job. Maybe they can turn that hope to full time, well paid green jobs.Eliminating a project that would’ve employed 11,000 is eliminating 11,000
Does President-elect Joe Biden play golf?
Does President Joe Biden play golf? What clubs does he belong to? What's his handicap index? We answer your questionsthegolfnewsnet.com
Biden can play. During the Obama administration, Golf Digest listed Biden as carrying a 6 handicap index and among the best golfers in the political community in Washington, D.C. In 2018, when Biden last entered a round in the USGA GHIN handicapping system, Biden was a 6.7 index.
That is a pretty good handicap.
No, they certainly lost a job. Clearly you’re somebody who doesn’t work in trades or has any connections to trade workers. My point has more to do with how what people say is spun to fit a political narrative. NY is at its lowest infection rate of 3.54% since Nov. 25. Death rates and hospital stays are coming down. I don't trust anything you post.Jod Biden like all politicians made a bunch of promises during his basement campaign. What happened to those promises?
First hundred days, "give me 100 days" he said. We will get control of the virus, we will open our schools so our kids can learn. Well, it's not looking like he has any better control of the virus, in fact it's worse. It's worse because he and his "team" haven't made any real advancements. Biden's team walked into a situation, WITH A VACCINE, ready and being distributed and people being inoculated. They are at roughly the level of vaccinations as the Trump administration was getting out. We are also seeing that in some areas, NYC for instance the situation is much worse because of the nursing home situation coming to light. As far as schools. Biden and his "team" have clarified his campaign statements. Open in 100 days now means, hopefully 50% of the schools in America will be open. Open means at least 1 or 1/2 day a week. Great plan Joe. Having Professor Jill Biden doesn't seem to be helping our schools.
One of the problems is the teachers Unions such as in Chicago. The teachers are refusing to go back to work in many cases and Joe cannot stand up to a large part of his voter and donation base.
Joe the Jobs President. So far Joe has killed thousands of jobs with his killing the XL pipeline. The number will go up to about a million total from the fallout of that move. The biggest problems from that is the loss of 11,000 jobs right away and another million down the road. Other consequences include higher fuel prices and reducing our energy independence. All of this despite Joe's green job promises. There are no Green Jobs ready at this time. Joe killed jobs without having any new jobs ready to replace them. What kind of stupid plan is that?
Unity Joe. Well, does anyone seeing Joe doing anything for unity? I don't. His actions have killed jobs, made no progress in vaccine distribution, no progress in open up our economy, no progress in getting the violence in America under control, in fact in the northwest it's worse. Crime in the big cities in America is up twofold and Joe does nothing to stop it and nothing to support our law enforcement agency. Oh yes, we do have 7,000 national guard troops surrounding D.C.. It's a hoax being perpetrated by the democrats. Look how dangerous it is in D.C. Don't worry about the rest of America.
Joe signed an EO that makes little boys into little girls who can compete in women's athletics against those young women. A biological male competing against females in tests of size, speed and strength.
Border Joe. Joe has opened up a superhighway to the U.S. border. Illegal border crossing are up almost 150%. Joe is opening more cages for unaccompanied minors.
Foriegn Policy Joe. Well we are back into the Paris Accord even though John Kerry told us 90% of carbon emissions come from outside the U.S. and China, Russia and India don't have to make changes before 2030. China by the way contributes more than 30% of the carbon emission by itself. Iran is openly challenging the Biden administration and Biden has no response. Biden has already caved to Russia on the new nuclear treaty renewal, asking for nothing from the Russians and not broaching the alleged claims of bounties on American soldiers, of which he criticized Trump.
That's a heck of an assumption. It's best not to assume things about people you know nothing about....and BTW you're wrong.Clearly you’re somebody who doesn’t work in trades or has any connections to trade workers.

there’s no such thing as a “green job” that’s code for expensive political patronage programs that are worse for the environment then oil.

Obviously he can, and enjoys doing so. Perhaps it's because he takes the job of President of the United States of America and the crisis left for him by the Trump administration too seriously to spend all of his time on the golf course?
Ahh, 43 miles of actual new Border Wall for $500 billion dollars. Now thas the facts and how stupid the Donald actually is. It won't work !In my opinion, eliminating a project already employing 11,000 is eliminating jobs. Canceling projects that never began in the first place is not eliminating any jobs. All construction jobs are temporary, I agree with that, learning that from first hand experience.
I have little doubt (hope) that at some point President Joe Biden will likely reinstate construction on the unfinished sections of the border fencing. Likely after his administration has had a chance to review each contract and how they were let and how they were being met. I have little doubt he will proceed with greater caution and more logical processes if that happens and will pay more attention to environmental concerns and private individual land ownership issues than his predecessor.
For the record, again, I opposed halting all the already in process construction projects along the border, but I understand why President Biden did so.
What always was of greater importance post construction was the letting of maintenance contracts for the border infrastructure, that is where the real permanent jobs will come from. But more importantly I am anxious to see how President Joe Biden addresses the 800 pound gorilla in the room when it comes to securing our borders.
It matters not if we have 2000 miles of more physically secured border with greatly enhanced physically enhanced infrastructure if we are severely short staffed of CBP agents to monitor our border and make apprehensions by literally being the boots on the ground. Our nation for some time has had serious problems with recruiting good CBP agents and keeping good CBP agents.
Let us not be remiss by not also addressing the third leg of border protection at issue, that is with our immigration courts and the marked inadequacy of the necessary staffed courts we really need. That is another carryover problem across multiple administrations.
Sorry, I have a habit of getting verbose, especially on the broad topic of border security and immigration, legal and illegal.
I hope and pray President Biden will find ways to address some of those issues I outlined and make improvements on them.
Heck of a deal when you kill energy jobs in the US, and in Canada. Then your energy czar John Kerry says we can't make a difference in the U.S.

He's actually done nothing except sign a few EO's. Most of what he has done was just extensions of the already in place Covid-19 relief plan. He has managed to kill a potentially 1 million jobs in the killing of the XL pipeline. He doesn't have any jobs ready to replace them. His vaccine distribution is not making any strides greater than we were seeing before he came to office. His excuse, well it was much worse than we thought. Boy that's a surprising excuse.
Trump approved of Xi’s ethnic cleansing of millions of China’s Muslim Uyghurs. He was under Xi’s thumb for 4 years.Joe has to specify that he’s an American President so he doesn’t forget and confess that he’s a Chinese asset.
