I once made a homemade triple chocolate rum bundt cake. It turned out quite soft and moist. I surprised myself at how well it turned out.
 
Naturally, coffee cake goes well with coffee. But then, everything goes well with coffee.

Then you should be fine if you have cake with your coffee. I also like brownies. These delicacies have to be budgeted for and logged, however, because I also watch my BMI.

A donut is great with coffee. Especially if you dunk the donut in the coffee.
 
Cheesecake, carrot cake, rum bundt cake good.
