My husband runs 2 miles 3x a week.

[He had a hard time keeping PT run time (military) in recent years - nursing various injuries put on the weight and slowed him down. He passed his last PT test much to his relief - and in record time (for himself in the last 10 years) so that gave him a positive boost. . . and he hasn't slacked off like he wants to do.

My oldest son is in track at school and runs 2-miles in 13 minutes. He also hits freeweights occasionally and I'm considering wrestling for him.

My Dad runs, too, 5 miles 3x a week in 45 minutes. . . and he does a lot of marathons.

My oldest sister take a spin class - she's knocked off a lot of weight in the last years and kept it off so she's an inspiration.
Her husband just earned his blackbelt in karate and does kettlebells (like me).
