Well, his main task seems to be one of a number of Trump Cabinet appointees specifically selected to cause chaos and controversy that creates a "fog of war" environment so that Trump can do what he is doing to advance his personal agenda: To stay out of prison, increase his persona wealth and power.

That this agenda may also profit those wealthy donor class elitists that support him is secondary to Trump. I promise you his pathological narcissistic arse could care less if his agenda shoe strings them along. It is only Donald J. Trump that Donald J. Trump cares about.
