They don't want anybody to have an abortion...right?
They don't want the government using contraception to prevent pregnancy...right?
They don't want any government programs for struggling family's after that child is born ...right?
And gays who can't have kids and would be the group with the most adoptions ...they don't want them to marry so they can have all the benefits married couples have to raise a child.

so I have to ask...JUST WHAT THE F%$CK DO THESE PEOPLE WANT???
 

Not being "right" but rather pragmatic, I have no problem with Roe v Wade, but States should be able to work within that decision as they deem fit...

The government has no business to be in the business of contraception...

People make choices in life, some good, some bad, but either way they, as individuals, are responsible not anyone else...

The government, especially at the federal level, has no business being in the business of marriage. It should not be creating "rights" based on actions taken between two individuals...

I just want the federal government to act at the 30,000 foot level rather than the street level...
 
While I don't agree with the delivery of your argument, I do agree with the principle of it.
 
I want innocent little ones protected from their mothers who don't want them.
 

I'm part of "the right." So are many of my friends. Abortion is okay within limits. Late term? Just kill ME instead. I'm very respectful of our safety nets. They should be managed better. The crooks should be thrown into the streets. People who need help ought to get MORE than they get -- a personal life coach to help them turn their lives around. Whatever it takes. And we'd have the money to do that if we got rid of the cheaters and liars and puppy dog tails. I know of no one who is against providing contraception for young people. Not a soul. I'm all for gay marriage.

What do you say to that in light of your generalizations?

Actually, I think you're talking more about 'the religious right' than politically speaking. While they're noisy, they're quite the minority.
 
Funnily enough for the amount of criticism the right dish out to the left they are fact themselves very philosophical and idealistic basically they just want to keep the rich, rich some right wing ideology is ok but in reality right wing governments are not too different from the so called left which is more center nowadays is politics it is the context to which the ideology is used rather than the ideology it self. But yes most right winger seem to be stuck in the past and have a very narrow perspective of society and how people may interpret the world around them.

3. Defend the Natural family, Marriage and family values

Life and values in America have been cheapened by gays and single/unmarried mothers. We wish to restore family values.
 

They want a perfect world, you know, like the one they live in...and they'll go to any length to make that happen even if they have to kill (born people of course), deport, or substantially increase the population of street people...and transport them all to the nearest desert, where a whole new society will learn how to eat sand and bugs.

As far as gays. If they would only realize that if everybody was gay...which they think those who are...are contagious...then that would almost, if not completely, eliminate abortion.

Oh...and like some sports folks love "Fantasy Football and Baseball". All the folks you're talking about love "Fantasy Life".

I'd say life and values in America have been cheapened by bigots, racists, radical/extremism in politics driven by fundamentalist. But the biggest problem facing America is the devaluing, contempt, and compulsion to deprive women of the rights to manage their own bodies, health, well being, reproductive roles and self-determination by people who believe women need to be controlled by men and governments.

1. I will post what I said earlier in another thread. Almost everybody accepts that some humans (born) can be actually killed. The concept of brain death- the belief that humans on respirators can legitimately be killed shows that. We have begun to think in terms of quality of life, instead of all life equally being sacred. That's why it is logical to now start thinking about Harlequin-type ichthyosis babies and whether it is always wrong to kill them.

What do people think amniocentesis and the selective abortion of Down's Syndrome foetuses are? Why limit the killing to the womb? Nothing magical happens at birth besides the infant having a mind (which is like that of your average ordinary animal). Of course if infanticide ever becomes legal, it needs to be strictly legally controlled and rare but it should not be ruled out, any more than abortion.

2. Doesn't really matter as they're easy to make and replace like mosquitos. You have got to love the law of supply and demand applied to human life in the womb

3. Sorry bud naturalism doesn't work with rational beings who will always have control over natural mindless biology.

4. Wrong Life, and values of a different variety including family values has changed which history has shown us. Get use to it. Back then your average family value would allow us to put defective infants on the hilltop to die so if you want to restore the original family values don't stop at a particular point that you liked

If you're talking about the unborn, then remove them from the women carrying them. Oops, you can't or they'll die because all the life in them is being infused by those women after they have reached the end of their natural life spans.

I heard today on the news that large corporations pay taxes, after the deductions for corporate welfare, at a rate just under that paid by ordinary families making about $60,000 a year.

Socialism is fundamentally wrong: government should not take one citizen's property just to give it to another, and charity is not the role of the state.
