The article says "without evidence".

Is that CNN's opinion? Or, is it fact.

Since CNN doesn't provide anything to support that contention as fact, then it should be considered opinion.

What are they supposed to do - hold up the evidence that there's no evidence?

One can prove or disprove a piece of evidence. What are we supposed to do when there is none?

That's easy for a MAGA fanboi. Guzzle another glass of convicted felon Trumpspunk and fill in the blanks with imagination.
 
Without something to show they actually LOOKED for evidence, one can only surmise that...as we've seen countless times from the TDS media...they are bullshitting.

Incorrect. This is the passage from the article you took issue with:

"President Donald Trump has fired Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, whom he accused, without evidence, of manipulating the monthly jobs reports for “political purposes.”

This means Trump gave no evidence. It's Trump's responsibility to do so; it is not CNN's responsibility to go looking for something that might vindicate him when he provides nothing to back it up himself.

That's for FOX to do...maybe a picture of the commissioner in a hoodie will suffice.

btw, after looking at Trump's statement, it's clear he DID, in fact, provide evidence.

I was just informed that our Country’s “Jobs Numbers” are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records — No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative.​

So...CNN lied.
 
All he is doing is making sure that the official statistics from the US government from this day on can not be trusted. That is a serious problem.. anyone remember Greece that did the same and hid with the help of Morgan Stanley and other American banks.. tons of debt? How did that go?

Its not their freaking job to ask for evidence.. it is the pedo President that has to present the evidence of what he is accusing this person off. He will be sued, and he will lose if he does not present evidence.

Notice how you haven't presented a single scrap of evidence to support Dear Leader's claim that she manipulated numbers?

That's what it means to make an accusation "without evidence." Yeesh.

So Trump was OK when the jobs numbers in May and June were inflated by 100's of 1000's but an accurate report with revisions is grounds for dismissal. There I fixed it for you.

It does not change the fact, that Pedo Don needs to provide the proof, or else it is an illegal dismissal and hello lawsuit.

There's been no investigation. No criminal charges for fraud, negligence or election interference. That's just Trump making wild accusations to cover his ass. It carries no more weight than when he whines about Beyonce or Rosie o'Donnell.

Yeah yeah, Trump said that the jobs numbers were RIGGED so damn it, IT MUST BE TRUE!!!
 
I deliberately turned on The Five on Fox to get their take on the firing but guess what they lead off with? The interview on Late Night with Colbert with Kamala Harris interview then went after Biden again with no mention of Thump's firing the person for the correct jobs report. What a shock...............................not

Unless you believe Convicted Felon Donald Trump's word is the word of God and is evidence enough in itself.

He made it up. We all know it's because he doesn't like the numbers. He wants to replace her with someone who will literally just lie for him.
