In Barney's Version Mordecai Richler described the Canada Council, the Ontario Arts Council, and the City of Toronto Arts Council as the "trilogy of mediocrity".

I would add the CBC to that list.

Fall, winter, and spring. Summer is largely a non-event...just kidding. I'm sure summer is pleasant. Both days of it.
Hmmmmmmmm haven't spent much time in Canada, have you?
To clarify: Our cities are steaming hot like American cities. Our country side the temps are more moderate. In winter it is freaky cold in the northern half, but the southern half is not much different than the northern States.
Finally, we are smart, we send our smoke south of the border to let our American friends deal with that ;)

Nope. PA is too cold for me. Having frozen part of my ass off for an extended time, I prefer warmer climes these days.

Proof that there are wise people in Canada who haven't been sucked into the cult ;)
Ummm...right. You keep thinking that. It'll make you feel better.

My home and native land....the true North strong and free.

......and never ending hockey in the Winter, blackflies in the Spring, road construction in the Summer and shorter days come Fall
