Trump has always used a transactional foreign policy. Putin isn't ignoring Trump, but he's tapping him along as even Trump said.
Such is the plight of a peacemaker -you cant always get what you want. Hegsmeth ( Sec of Defense) is the guy who wanted the Dept of War.
I'm fine with it. fight a war /win a war/ go home -not long term bases and such

Helping Ukrainians to kill Russians who are murdering Ukrainians is a good cause.

Capitulating to the antagonist in that issue is the dumbest idea imaginable...which explains why Trump thought it was a good plan.

no. i was responding to a post about a bass boat. There were supposed intercepts, they left from Venezuela

So you have no source to answer my simple request. Had someone answered with a link to something akin to Human Rights Watch, I'd consider that a credible source. If the claim came from the Maduro government, I'd considered it highly questionable.

Trump called them "Narcoterrorists," a designation he made back in February which included Tren de Aragua traffickers. One of many source links: US military strikes alleged 'drug vessel' from Venezuela in Caribbean Sea, 11 killed, USA Today, 9/2/2025 No mention of fishermen. Does include an objecting reference from Human Rights Watch.

I support giving support to those who are fighting for it.
