I am founding the United States Party to counter the American Party. We also do not follow Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor Democrats who nominate the extreme left. But, in a crucial difference between us and the American Party, we strongly endorse the right for every American to enjoy a fine craft beer on a hot summer day. In fact, this is central to our platform. We do not follow the Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor the Democrats that nominate the extreme left. We will only support candidates that support the American Party
You were just supporting some one dividing our country. How does that fit?I am founding the United States Party to counter the American Party. Therefore I invite all members of the American Party to instead join us in the United States Party.

Persoanlly I vote for whoever I feel will best represent my political beliefs. I do not worry about labels like "far right" or "far left". But you do you.We do not follow the Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor the Democrats that nominate the extreme left. We will only support candidates that support the American Party
Well, at the moment you are trying to divide the country by forming your own political party that excludes many Americans. I figure that if it's OK for @craig to divide Americans, then perhaps it's OK for me to as well, especially if my political party has a more noble policy platform--in this case, advocacy for craft beer and other fine, ambrosial delights. You were just supporting some one dividing our country. How does that fit?
Our policy platform can and does extend to cover all form of fine liquors and cocktails, as well as satisfying margaritas both simple and spicy. Refreshing mocktails for those who abstain are also welcomed--particularly the mint/cucumber themed ones.I despise craft beer. I hardly have a taste for beer at all these days. What's your policy on tequila, triple sec and lime juice?
Do you vote for the individual or the party? The problem is that is almost impossible now.Persoanlly I vote for whoever I feel will best represent my political beliefs. I do not worry about labels like "far right" or "far left". But you do you.

It is perfectly possible.Do you vote for the individual or the party? The problem is that is almost impossible now.
Your previously thread blew up in your face so now you try to deflect and start another similar thread. There is no extreme left in the USA. Its only when you support fascism that moderates look like extremists. We do not follow the Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor the Democrats that nominate the extreme left. We will only support candidates that support the American Party

I don't agree and the state of our country's politics make that plain.Your previously thread blew up in your face so now you try to deflect and start another similar thread. There is no extreme left in the USA. Its only when you support fascism that moderates look like extremists.
No, there doesn't. Politics is people, not a graph. If people have an opinion, they have it, it doesn't mean there's an equal group with the opposite view.If there is a left and a right along a continuum, there has to be an extreme to either side.
Load of nonsense. You don't even mention the most relevant political force in the country, the oligarchs. We do not follow the Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor the Democrats that nominate the extreme left. We will only support candidates that support the American Party
Will they support the American party? We like people to work and we like businesses to make stuff. So no income tax or tax on profits. We do not like entrenched wealth or aristocracies (autocrats) so we only tax wealth.Load of nonsense. You don't even mention the most relevant political force in the country, the oligarchs.
The Democratic Party nominated and ele Ted a life long moderate not the "extreme left".We do not follow the Republicans who nominate the extreme right nor the Democrats that nominate the extreme left. We will only support candidates that support the American Party
Who are these extreme lefties in power? Bernie Sanders is politically identical to Justin Trudeau and to the right of Dwight Eisenhower(R), Truman, and FDR. He is hardly an extremist. The US has moved so far right economically in the past 30 years that moderates look like extremists if you don't understand history and poli-sci.If there is a left and a right along a continuum, there has to be an extreme to either side.
In another important point of contrast between my United States Party and @craig's American Party, we in the United States Party do not believe in taxing wealth as the primary revenue driver for government. We favor a calibrated balance of income taxes and consumption taxes, with a greater bias toward consumption vs. income taxes compared to the status quo. We are not opposed to moderate, calibrated taxes associated with the transfer of wealth by treating such transfers as a source of income for the recipient, however we do not believe (for example) that a family should be taxed out of its ancestral land unlike those stodgy American Party radical activists. Will they support the American party? Perhaps a link to the text of how that would be accomplished? Will they support the American party? We like people to work and we like businesses to make stuff. So no income tax or tax on profits. We do not like entrenched wealth or aristocracies (autocrats) so we only tax wealth.
Pro.I despise craft beer. I hardly have a taste for beer at all these days. What's your policy on tequila, triple sec and lime juice?
Sounds like a good apposing party. At least we could tell them apart. In another important point of contrast between my United States Party and @craig's American Party, we in the United States Party do not believe in taxing wealth as the primary revenue driver for government.
