Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, defended Thomas and blasted The Post for trying to "bully" him, while another critic suggested the paper should apologize for the "race-based smear" against him.

That is what Fox news means when it says "WaPo" has been blasted. Fox news announces that a shitbag Trumpist attacked a Trump-identified target he was always going to attack.

@American thinks it's news that a Trumpist ran his mouth at a target Trump told him to hate.

He mainlines the stuff.

While Thomas is undoubtedly a crazy person, it looks like the WaPo article was already amended.

Extra credit: know who is now pretending to be affronted at comments for supposedly being "racist" or the like about Thomas?

The same people who are outraged at the message that black peoples' lives matter just as much as theirs and who are inexplicably suddenly outraged that someone developed a system for analyzing effects of systemic racism to be taught at the graduate school level 40+ years ago ("CRT").

Yeah, they're real concerned. That rage at WaPo is real. They care. Right.

So many layers of ridiculous.

You know who is NOT outraged at the implication about Thomas? The same hypocrites who support BLM against racist cops. The same hypocrites who enter every debate with their race card already pulled out. The same hypocritical bootlickers of the Washington Post.

Oh, your fake poutrage is not just yours (rather than Fox's) but it's real?

When are we going to see threads from American forcefully arguing that black peoples' lives matter just as much as everyone else's and against police brutality against the citizenry, of which they take a heavy share?
When are we going to see the apologies for all the comments to the contrary?

When are we going to see threads from American forcefully arguing that centuries of racism have had terrible and evil effect, and for analyzing our legal/societal structures to ferret it out?
When are we going to see the apologies for relentlessly lying about what CRT is and where it is taught?

Fake poutrage is fake. And it's not even yours.

Ha. I was just on Fox checking to see if they had anything about the judge's ruling today about the trump family having to testify and I found nothing but I did see this article.

Fox is genius.

Surely, no one cares what the Washington Post thinks.

It is just preaching to the choir.

A once great (well, "fairly good") newspaper is now just a viewspaper.

Opinions of FOX......period. No validity
Any educated black person from back in the day that denies Affirmative Action had anything to do with his success is full of shit and definitely in denial of who he is

The RACIST Washington Post, implying Thomas is an Uncle Tom.
...or, the Washington Post once again dealing in truth, which always drives the conjobs nuts...

As a SCOTUS judge, Thomas gets to be his own man. He has no obligation to the black community, and seemingly is exercising such independence, as the WaPo article well points out.

It remains one of the great newspapers in the world, which is why the WaPo name is abhorrent to those that prefer to live fact-free lives.

The Washington Post is just doing what they do everyday.
You don't want to even put that paper in the bottom of a
bird cage. It's so full of shit it won't work.

Why would ANY SCOTUS judge have an obligation to the "black community" whatever that means?

How about an obligation to the US constitution? That is the ONLY one necessary and quite frankly, Thomas is the best we have at the moment.

Looks like they issued a retraction. Racism is never a good look.

A previous version of this story imprecisely referred to Justice Clarence Thomas’s opinions as often reflecting the thinking of White conservatives, rather than conservatives broadly. That reference has been removed.

Oh dear. I did try to tell you Trumpists something about this already:
Who are the people pretending to attack WaPo out of outrage at racism? You don't think no one has noticed that you lot call anything that isn't the Trumpist line "fake news", do you? It's not like anyone is noding sagely at your canned attacks on left-lean media.

👆 And here we have an example of someone spending all his time attacking other posters because he has no problem with racism. 👆
