1. "Freedom of religion". This was a bad idea. The Founders should have created a state religion, like the Church of England, and forced everyone to convert to it. The Bible, for example, clearly says you have to be a loving person in order to be a Christian. If you're not loving, you're not a Christian and are going to hell. Therefore, any "Christian" sect which isn't loving is heretical and should receive no Constitutional protections. The state should ban it. Example:
2. "Freedom of speech". Also a bad idea. Certain speech, such as racism, shouldn't be Constitutionally protected.
I can think of other reasons why the 1st Amendment may have been a mistake.
