He still owns the same house he bought in 1958 for $31,000. His current net worth? One hundred sixty billion dollars. People call me cheap!!

He's a pretty unpretentious man. He's talked about the joy he had working every day even as he got older, describing the experience as "tap dancing into work".

How will Becky on MSN Squawk Box ever get by.

“Trade should not be a weapon,” Buffett said, drawing applause from the crowd. Instead, he urged the U.S. to embrace global cooperation, saying, “We should do what we do best, and they should do what they do best.” He didn’t mention the current administration, but his rebuke of recent tariff policies rang loud and clear.
Buffett’s words came just before he officially named Greg Abel as his successor and stepped down as CEO — a moment that marked the end of a legendary era. He bought Berkshire in 1965 and spent six decades turning it from a struggling textile company into a corporate juggernaut. Today, its holdings range from railroads and insurance firms to Dairy Queen and Apple stock.

However, even as Buffett closed that chapter, he wasn’t focused on money. He was focused on America’s future.

Be greedy when other people are fearful. Be fearful when other people are greedy. The guy had wisdom and common sense. Rare by today's standards.

Buy and hold index funds was his other bit of advice. As he pointed out no managed mutual fund has ever beaten VTI.

The guy has made billions.
His current net worth is $168 billion.
And he is 94 years old.
I think he has earned stepping down.

His will is if I'm not mistaken is 100% dedicated to charitable causes.
