Like most of you, if you have reached my ripe old age, remember shopping locally, and even bargain shops were small or medium size.

Then Walmart came along, Target, Costco, and others.

Now small businesses stand empty while everyone bangs shopping carts on bumpers, stand in long lines, and end up with inferior products by going to the big box stores?

Of course we know about Trump's latest feud with Walmart, but that aside, do YOU spend your hard earned money at the big box stores, or are you ok with spending an extra dime, getting better quality and keeping smaller shops alive?

Wait...what is "Trump's latest feud with Walmart"?

Figures that THAT part of my posting is the only part you are focused on and you are in at #2 to defend your Idol.
However, you failed to address the question or vote.
(Mind you, I should have realized, that mentioning Trump in my post was bound to trigger a sensitive respond, so I shouldn't be surprised)

I usually avoid Walmart in favor of a different supermarket. We also go to Aldi sometimes and Costco occasionally.

Trump is the whole issue for Mycroft, not the box stores. I also find it hilarious as they come on here making stupid statements when they could have looked on Google first before they put their feet into their mouth.

If I wanted to buy a big box I suppose I might look for a big box store, though we don't seem to have any here. Right now small and medium boxes meet my storage needs.

I'm in a position I rarely go to Wal-Mart

and I don't like it when I do to be honest, they crapped on "Made in the USA" and sold out long ago

Oh, it's nothing so serious. I like getting information.

So...are you going to answer my question? Or are you going to waste my time?

Yeah, he still hasn't voted and is now trying to lead me in a different direction. Go figure. Best to ignore him on this thread.

Voted "No" because I go to them rarely anymore. Out of all of them, Walmart I avoided like the plague because of crowds and overall crappy experience.
Getting around all those 400 lbers in their electric wheelchairs is a task.

Does Amazon factor in as a big box?

you might like Costco, seems they have a better selection of quality.

some things are tough to find even in the Big Box brick and mortar, amazon is getting to be my go to when i can't pick it up locally. the down side is the waiting for free shipping et al.

I like the shopping experience. Going from small shop to small shop. Make a day of it. Not getting jostled in big box stores.

I use Walmart delivery ,, except fresh food and bake goods.. those i go to a store and buy
