President think skin strikes again in his revenge tour...

The Wall Street Journal slammed the raid of President Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton’s home on Friday, labeling it a part of the president’s “vendetta campaign.”

Law enforcement said the investigation into Bolton was over classified records stored at his residence in Bethesa, Md. But, the Journal argued the probe reeks of political “retribution.”

“It’s hard to see the raid as anything other than vindictive. Mr. Bolton fell out of Mr. Trump’s favor in the first term and then wrote a book about his experience in the White House while Mr. Trump was still President. Mr. Trump tried and failed to block publication,” a Friday op-ed from the outlet reads, referencing Bolton’s 2020 book.

Bolton must have been one of the WSJ secret sources.

As it turns out, your speculation is wrong: Bolton wasn't one of the wsj's "secret sources":

...Mr. Bolton has had to pay for his own personal security, though he had served at the behest of the President. This is the kind of gratuitous viciousness that has increasingly defined Mr. Trump’s return to office.

It’s unlikely that Mr. Bolton broke any laws on national secrets, and he certainly didn’t share any with us over our long association with him. But perhaps Mr. Trump intends for the process itself to be the punishment even if there is ultimately no criminal charge. Mr. Bolton has to pay for legal counsel, and his family has to endure the anxiety of being under federal government siege....

So lefties telling us for years that they were going to "get Trump" was all fine, now that during the Trump presidency he's decided to allow the DOJ and FBI to look into what may be classified documents being mishandled, that a problem. Just more of the left having one set of rules for themselves and another for everyone else.

The Wall Street Journal is not part of "the left".

...It is a valid fear that the case against Bolton is a fresh instance of the old Soviet saying, “Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.” It comes against the backdrop of federal investigators looking for dirt on other Trump critics: New York Attorney General Letitia James, Sen. Adam Schiff (D-California), former FBI director James B. Comey and former CIA director John Brennan.

Trump does not conceal his view that the Justice Department should maintain no independence whatsoever from the White House. On Friday, while wearing a hat proclaiming “TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING,” the president speculated that the search could turn up evidence that Bolton is “a very unpatriotic guy.” Trump added that he did not have advance knowledge of the search, although it would have been fine if he had because he is the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.

The administration appears to be relitigating a fight it lost five years ago when the Justice Department tried unsuccessfully to stop Bolton from publishing his tell-all memoir about his tenure as national security adviser. Bolton emphatically denied that the book, based on notes he had taken, contained classified material. After a career White House staffer said Bolton had made the necessary edits to get the green light, the national security adviser who succeeded Bolton ordered an additional clearance review by a Trump loyalist....

WSJ has been under Trump's skin for a good while now. :sneaky:

The Journal keeps smacking Trump upside the head. Now the Journal is with Bolton who keeps Trump awake nights sticking pins in his Bolton photos. Trump failed to stop Bolton's book and so on and so on about Bolton.

So MAGAs trip and stumble over one another to cuss the Journal. Joe Scarborough keeps quoting the Journal slamming Trump which also drives the MAGAs up the wall.

Luvin' it. WSJ owns the MAGAs and Trump too. Nuthin' Trumpolini can do about it either.

Like who?

No, retribution is not fitting of someone who is supposed to be a national leader.

Unless you like leaders like Putin.

Oh...okay...never mind.

Who invented lock them up again? How many days in prison has Trump served for his numerous crimes against America? The double standard is entirely on the side of the deplorables and reprobates who supported Trump getting away with his attempted overthrow of Democracy and who want everyone who has ever said anything critical of him thrown in jail or deported.

After Trump's classified document scandal and arrest, he has ZERO, NADA, NO, ZIP, credibility to question anything related to classified documents. He is the most ethically corrupt person in America and his toadies in government who do everything he wants are no better.

I firmly believe paybacks are a MF. Trump may be top dog for now, but he won't always be.

Of course. This is not a symmetric situation. Donald Trump is a convicted felony running the country and punishing law enforcement.

You yourself filed a DOJ complaint urging a criminal investigation into Bolton's Super PAC. You argued that Bolton should never again hold a security clearance or a White House position. (Receipts attached.)

And on top of that, you called for Trump to be prosecuted for mishandling classified documents.

Yet today, you're burnishing Bolton's reputation as if none of that history exists.

The only reason to make a move this brazen is fear. Fear of real accountability. Fear that if scrutiny of classified material handling is applied evenly--to Bolton, to Trump, to anyone--it undermines the partisan lawfare you've built your career around.

This has nothing to do with democracy and everything about defending a political club, where rules are bent for allies and weaponized against opponents. And your sudden embrace of Bolton, a man you once said was unfit to handle national secrets, proves the point better than anything I could add.

Lawyer up. You might be next.

Why is law enforcement allowing a dangerous convicted felon, rapist, and traitor to still loose in the streets?

Joe Biden is in the streets?

Trump is getting himself, he doesn't need help from the left.
