"An Oklahoma woman who was said to be so incensed that a McDonald’s dining area was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic that she shot three teenage employees has been identified by police.
Gloricia Woody, 32, was arrested Wednesday night after the shooting at the McDonald’s near Southwest 89th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, in Oklahoma City.
Police Captain Larry Withrow said Woody entered the restaurant at around 6:22pm and was told by workers the dining area had been closed for safety reasons.
Woody was asked to leave but refused, and police said a physical altercation then ensued between the suspect and an employee.
‘The suspect was forced out of the restaurant by employees. She re-entered the restaurant with a handgun and fired approximately three rounds in the restaurant,’ Withrow said.
One employee was shot in the arm, one suffered a shrapnel wound in the shoulder area and another employee was struck in the side by shrapnel.
The employee who fought with Woody suffered a head injury during the altercation, police said. The specific nature of the injury was not immediately clear.
Injuries to the four employees were non-life-threatening. Three employees with gunshot wounds were taken to a local hospital, police said.
Two of the employees are 16 years old and the others are 18, Withrow said. He did not know which employees were wounded by the gunfire...

"Why people shouldn't carry guns."

Hasty generalization.

Yep, this lady clearly represents the problem with every gun owner who either does, or might carry a firearm on them.

Much like some people who drive cars/trucks intentionally run into a crowd of people, so that's the problem with everyone who drives a car. People really shouldn't drive motor vehicles.

Anyone else want to provide their own example of a hasty generalization so we can see how many things most people do without harm, but must be a problem because someone might do it to cause harm?

I can't wait to see how creative this can get. :coffeepap:

German Shepherd attacks teen in Argentina, leaving her with 40 stitches to face | 7NEWS.com.au
A playful hug with a best friend's dog went horribly wrong during a recent photo shoot, leaving a 17-year-old girl with dozens of stitches to her face.

The camera captured the shocking moment the usually place German Shepherd, Kenai, turned on Lara Sanson, from the province of Tucuman in north-western Argentina

Following a two-hour operation, Lara was left with 40 internal and external stitches to her face.

But she says her pain is bearable, and is only experiencing some bother due to the inflammation and "eating problems".

Thankfully this woman was not killed. More proof people should not own the potential dangerous German Shepard.

~ This is a good example of why people should have guns for self-protection if they wish. :ind:

Evidence why people should be afraid of people taking guns into stores/restaurants. Here's another recent news report, sadly this involved someone getting KILLED over COVID-19. Just how would a gun help him ?
Why do this gun lobby suggest that the only protection from getting killed by their toys, if for even MORE people to carry them and thus present MORE of a threat:

"Three family members have been charged in the killing of a security guard who told a customer at a Michigan Family Dollar store to wear a state-mandated face mask, officials said on Monday.
Calvin Munerlyn, 43, died at a Flint hospital after he was shot in the head Friday, said Michigan State Police Lt. David Kaiser.
Ramonyea Travon Bishop, 23, Larry Edward Teague, 44, and Sharmel Lashe Teague, 45, have been charged with first-degree premeditated murder, along with other charges, the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement on Monday.
Sharmel and Larry Teague are married, and Bishop is Sharmel's son, according to the prosecutor's office...

If people drove their guns to work you might have a point. Guns represent an unnecessary and often fatal danger to society. Their only purpose is to kill people and yet we are surprised when they are used for that purpose.

If that father and son hadn't had guns, they wouldn't have murdered the jogger.

True

And te recent incident of a security guard being shot in the back of he head...or the McDonalds employess being shot wuldn't have happened

All because people with guns were told to obey the COVID-19 regulations ... and they decided to shoot people who told them

Still in favor of people carrying guns ?

Well most people don't want o be shot.

You're absolutely right. But at first glance if you gotta be, well... At a second glance no. Looks like she fell
out of an uugglly tree hitting every branch face first. A very tall ugly tree.

People shouldn't be allowed to drive or own cars.

Texas Woman Allegedly Killed Husband by Pinning Him with Car | PEOPLE.com

State by state

Clearly we need to ban private ownership of vehicles look how many people die every year.

Oh wait we can't make political hay out of this so we'll just ignore those people.

We should ban private ownership of golf clubs.

If you like playing golf is your hobby more important than this man's life?

Guns are not transportation but they do have a use outside of murder. They're used for hunting they're used for self-defense. That's actually their main purpose so banning the gun because somebody commits murder is like banning the car because somebody commits murder with a car.

if you think the only purpose of a gun is to kill people with it you should probably never have one.

I guess she must really have wanted a Big Mac

Why shouldn't people carry guns ?

SHE is why !!!

If they hadn't had guns they wouldn't have been brave enough to act on their racism and confront their victim.

Actually the most common "use" of a handgun is suicide so apparently many do know what a gun is used for.

So many gun owners feel entitled.

No, that’s not their only purpose.
