if you ask a woman out and she lets you know that she is not interested, then accept that she is un-interested in you romantically and leave her alone
why is that so difficult for some guys to figure out?
what part of your issue did i miss? Thanks for asking the question that wasn't really the question.
I see no problem with a man asking a woman out once. If she says no he should accept that as her final answer and graciously back off. No persistance, no "aww c'mon baby," no "don't be stuck up." Back off, sit down, drown your wounded pride in a beer and stfu. Now, if a man asks a woman out and she turns him down, she might consider it sexual harrasment and if he asks as little as two times he is a predator, without question.
Pretty much all of it. But the main point was the general accusations made based on sex.what part of your issue did i miss?

And what if she was on a relationship he didn't know about? Can he ask again if they break up?I see no problem with a man asking a woman out once. If he asks again after being turned down then he's being an asshole who thinks "no" means "maybe."
Stop trying to derail the thread.based on sex or gender?
from the OP, it appears the writer held little knowledge of sex as the women asked never allowed the relationships to go that far
then answer the questionStop trying to derail the thread.
then answer the question
were you referring to an issue of sex or gender because there is nothing about sex in that initial post other than the OP not getting any
There is no "what if" - if you ask and she says no, you're done. If you can truly be her friend with no underlying agenda then have at it. If you can't, DROP IT.And what if she was on a relationship he didn't know about? Can he ask again if they break up?
What about Big Bang Theory? Would you classify Leonard as a sexual predator? He asked out Penny and got a no on several occasions?
Why do guys only get one question and then STFU forever?
On another forum, a woman lwnted that she doesn't get asked.oit in person. The only way to meet people, ostensibly, was through the internet and/or aps.
So I asked about men asking women out. In the past, if a man asked a woman out the worst that would likely happen is that he'd get turned down. If he asked again, he was just persistent. Now, if a man asks a woman out and she turns him down, she might consider it sexual harrasment and if he asks as little as two times he is a predator, without question. So, what is the point of men ever asking women out in person?
By asking a woman out the down side is quite bad. Asking them out in an app or online is similar to "back in my day" consequences.
That is what I asked. The response was incredible. I was turned into a predator. I mean the nastiest assumptions were made. I was compared to a rapist. Why? It was a simple question.
My theory is that it's sexism. Men asking questions about dating and/or sex are told what to believe and assumed the worst unless they bow to certain terms.
Some men have brains and maturity-----but some are like you describe too. Hopefully you are not describing yourself......?On another forum, a woman lwnted that she doesn't get asked.oit in person. The only way to meet people, ostensibly, was through the internet and/or aps.

That's the point. How do you know she's not interested if she just says no, she's busy. Why can't she be asked out again? I was working at Jack in the Box in 1974. A hot pretty girl started working there. I asked her out twice and she said she was busy. She turned down this stud muffin twice. I said "Three strikes and you're out." But, on the third try, she said yes. So, was I harassing her? We've been married for 47 years now. Why should I agree with anything women say today on this subject?if you ask a woman out and she lets you know that she is not interested, then accept that she is un-interested in you romantically and leave her alone

NONSENSE! Did I say GARBAGE! A man gets to ask a question once is pathetic WOK crapola! There is no "what if" - if you ask and she says no, you're done. A man gets to ask that question once of a woman. If she says no but then circumstances/feelings on her end change later on, trust me - she will let you know. Asking twice with what is essentially a "Pretty please?" attitude is pathetic at best. It's always clueless, potentially threatening, and dangerous.
No man is entitled.
Assume when a woman says no she means it. Why should you agree with a woman when she says no, not just once but twice? What kind of entitled bullshit is that? How do you know she's not interested if she just says no, she's busy. Why can't she be asked out again? I was working at Jack in the Box in 1974. That's correct. If I were starting out, I'd reject your WOK crap and I would continue to ask at least two more times. Why not? Why does it hurt to ask? As long as I'm not going out of my way and camping out at her house, what's your problem? See, "No" actually means "Not now." How many times have women and men said they didn't like their husbands at first? Young people today often are swayed by WOK nonsense...Assume when a woman says no she means it. Why should you agree with a woman when she says no, not just once but twice? What kind of entitled bullshit is that?
1974 is not 2021, stud muffin.

I did and have been married for 47 years. Why would you listen to WOK crap and lose out on someone you may have had a great life with? Again, "No" means "Not Now." Not "Never." There is nothing wrong asking a second or third time. Why would you ask again when you were already told no?

It shows a fundamental lack of respect for her opinion.I did and have been married for 47 years. Why would you listen to WOK crap and lose out on someone you may have had a great life with? Again, "No" means "Not Now." Not "Never." There is nothing wrong asking a second or third time.
You don't know what WOK crap is? Where have you been? No wonder you don't get it. There is nothing wrong with asking. It's not against the law to ask more than once. It's only wrong to the sensitive WOK crowd that more and more people are rejecting, including other liberals. You need a safe space to run to if someone asks you to go on a date? I feel sorry for those that believe this WOK crap. And, it's crap...I don't know what "WOK crap" is.
If you're getting signals from the person that they're interested in you, I see nothing wrong with asking again. There is a problem with asking repeatedly just because you think you deserve a yes.
As nothing to do with opinion. It has to do with the mating ritual of normal human beings. I don't expect WOK liberals who need safe spaces because someone says no to understand basic human mating rituals. Nor will I give up my 47 years with my wife because of your false garbage. It shows a fundamental lack of respect for her opinion.
