Well this is an enormous insult to all those who have gone before and received that honor from previous presidents. I totally believe Rush deserves it because he can talk **** forever and refuse to be interrupted. :doh

Trump was elected in order to troll Democrats. This will annoy Democrats, so of course he'll do it.
 
I don't mind Rush. In fact, I credit him with getting me into politics. I used to listen to him religiously. Have his books, everything. I am saddened by his cancer diagnosis and wish him the best.

That being said, he does not deserve the Medal of Freedom.

Obama doled these things out like candy to many top Dem celebrity fundraisers after Hillary lost - consolation prizes & political pay-offs.

So if cheapening the award is your concern, Obama's been there & done that.

Also - speaking of cheapening things - consider that both Kissinger and Obama have won Nobel Peace Prizes.

There's some recipients that Obama chose that I wouldn't have...So many from Hollywood but so what?

The president's choice is clearly a subjective decision.

You either like Rush or you don't. There are people like myself who believe he is a great educator. Over the years I have learned a lot about politics from Rush. For those who don't like him they should ask the question of why Rush has the biggest radio audience in the country.
He makes money for radio stations whereas whining Liberal talk show hosts have to stick to big cities where anti-Conservatives can keep them alive.
