[R.I.P.] [W: #217] Charlie Kirk: Memorial Thread Discussion

To know who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.: Voltaire
On this forum, it appears to be recently deceased people in a thread that is dedicated to "rest in peace" for the recently deceased. There are approximately 27 other threads where you can freely criticize Mr. Kirk.

Great points by George Conway on the way the Right is politicizing Charlie Kirk's death in a way that harms our country:

I consider this a "must watch."

The count of people criticizing Charlie Kirk is about 22 posts in the first 5 pages. Of those 22 posts 3 of them were actual quotes of Kirk's answering a conservative who stated Kirk never said XXXX. That makes 19 post personally critical of Kirk and in violation of the RIP rules. There are 125 posts on all 5 pages. That means that 15.2% of all posts criticized Charlie Kirk. On those same 5 pages there are about 27posts by Kirk supporters calling Kirk detractors haters among other things. That 's about 21.6% and the conservative shrillness and name calling gets more frequent and more vitriolic as the pages numbers go up. It would seem that if anyone is ignoring the RIP rules it would be the supporters of Charlie Kirk.

The title of this RIP called for discussion. What is the rule when the originator over rides the rules by saying "discussion" and people then discuss the deceased?

President Trump at Charlie Kirk Memorial Service: "He did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent and I don't want the best for them.
Not good to have that hate in your heart.

Considering they have tried to kill him twice. It could happen!

The title of the thread should have been Charlie Kirk Adoration Thread. People are discussing what's being said at the "memorial," but the OP doesn't like that. She just wants people to say nice things about Kirk, which even she couldn't muster because there's not much to say.

That’s gotta be the longest post I have seen from your keyboard.
