Marie Yovanovitch, former U.S.Ambassador to Ukraine, will be giving live testimony at 9:00 am.

I'm looking forward to Marie Yovanovitch's testimony even though she was removed from her position before the July phone call between Trump and Zelensky.

Here we go!

The picture that that is abundantly clear-- the bottom line from her opening statement is that this president is corrupt, incompetent and as such a threat to US National Security and must be impeached

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

I only have one comment after her opening statement. Jesus Christ almighty, what have we done? We've lost one of our government's chief bastions of integrity and commitment to this country. I'm both appalled and ashamed at what Trump and Pompeo have done to this amazing woman.

Just another career public servant who has had to deal with smear campaigns from the White House because they didn't blindly go along with a corrupt scheme.

It warms my heart that she is testifying.
I’m sure she is not pissed off because she was fired from her job. I’m sure she is not testifying because she hates Trumps policy of giving military assistance to Ukraine instead of blankets. Is Obama a Russian agent?
I’m sure she will testify she heard from a source who heard it from another source who heard it from another source that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine.
I’m sure she will give her non-legal opinion and presumptions and speculation about Trumps intentions when he spoke with the Ukraine president. After all the Ukraine president is lying.
I’m sure she will tell Congress about her concerns with Hunter Biden, not that they care since it’s normal practice sitting on the board of a corrupt company in a country your father oversees as VP.

So amazing that she turn a blind eye to what Biden was doing in Ukraine.
It’s okay for the VP to bribe the Ukraine government.
It’s okay for your inexperienced son to sit on the board earning 50k a month because your last name is Biden.
She knew what was going on and ignored it. Most honorable of her.

I'm sure Trumpists will continue to complain about sourcing while cheering as those with more direct knowledge are blocked from testifying by the White House.

Good faith arguments from people with solid intentions.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Marie Yovanovitch, championed corrupt fighter in Ukraine.

Trump, who claims to fight corruption, used corrupt Ukranians who were pushed out of power by the U.S. for being corrupt to help smear Marie, and push her out of the way in favor of his corrupt officials enacting his corrupt scheme to get the brand new, vulnerable Ukranian president, to help Trump in the 2020 election with a specific statement that they would be investigating Burisma.

So worried about corruption, Trump:
-went outside U.S state department channels
- used his personal attorney to further this agenda
- used Rick Perry, who while meeting with people on Trump's behalf in Ukraine, secured as his priority, a lucrative 50 year energy deal for one of his big political donors.
- used Sondland, a wealthy individual who paid $1M to Trump's campaign for his ambassadorship to the EU...moved to help in Ukraine
- Rudy, on Trump's behalf, then coordinated with four criminals...
1. Paul Manaort who helped corrupt Ukraine in Russia's interests,
2.3. Fruman and Parnas, now indicted and out on bail for corruption in the United States
4. Dmtry Firtiash, corrupt, Russian-backed Ukrainian, wanted by the U.S. for bribery...using Rudy to help try to get his extradition stopped, after his legal efforts to stop his extradition failed.

- Withheld foreign aid and a meeting at the WH from Ukraine, in exchange for a favor, Trump's stated goal of getting Ukraine to say publicly they will be investigating Burisma/Biden.
- Hid these corrupt calls on a secret classified server
- has rejected all requests for records
- has rejected all attempts for state department people involved, to provide testimony.

Trump is corrupt, there never has been a question, there certainly isn't now.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Was she boohooing about getting fired? How dare Trump fire her ass he should be impeached!

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Trump, who said he would not be watching today's hearings, is rage tweeting about Yovanovitch and attacking her record.

so yet another witness that has 0 to add to anything.
since well she wasn't even around.

yet another reason we know that this entire thing is complete bunk.

Ma'am did you hear the phone call?

no

umm why not?

i was fired.

ok then why are you here you have nothing to testify to.

and all the tears and crying are good for camera but are irrelevant.
not a very good witness to call since she has nothing to testify for.

she has no knowledge. she was fired. she has literally has nothing to add or nothing to give as testimony.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Her opening statement is a shocking indictment against the Trump administration. Basically while Ukraine has just elected a new President who's number one promise is to fight and extinguish corruption in the Ukraine. A long term foreign policy goal of the U.S. was starting to be realized. The Trump Whitehouse response to this great achievement? - let's see if we can corrupt this new President.

Disgusting. And to be honest I don't think it was done with any understanding of the ramifications to the Ukraine's future prospects.

yea appeal to emotion arguments other than leftist ad hominems are the only thing they have.
dry up the tears sweetie. you got fired cry me a river build me a bridge and get over it.

I can't wait for jim jordan to just pounce on her.

yes asking another president to look into the corrupt acts of a US VP and of his own government is trying to corrupt the new president LMAO
where do you people get his logic from? a cracker jack box?

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

I wonder if there are any Americans who still believe that Trump didn't use taxpayer money in an attempt to help himself personally.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

How can anyone watch these testimonies and still think trump did nothing wrong? Are these people just idiots, or crazy, or both? To believe all of these witnesses and testimonies are all making this crap up is just mind blowing. It’s ludicrous. Meanwhile the people who have more knowledge (Giuliani, Bolton, mulvaney etc) are free to show up and give their versions to exonerate trump. Where are they? Yovanovitch and the other witnesses are all career patriots with the same narrative. Wake up people! Anyone still defending trump just looks foolish and without a brain!

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

So you have not been listening?

sorry she wasn't on the phone call she has 0 knowledge if there was quid pro quo.
her opinion is not testimony and she has 0 evidence of the occurrence.

sounds like a disgruntled employee that is mad that she was fired from her cushy job in which she allowed
corruption to happen and didn't report it. honestly i don't give a **** if she is crying.
tears are irrelevant to the fact that she has 0 knowledge of the phone call or quid pro quo.

umm because he didn't do anything wrong compared to biden.

so far no one has testified to quid pro quo and in fact taylor pretty much said trump was innocent.
as he heard or had no conversation in which linkage was discussed.

Don't lodge those fingers too deeply into your ears, you may hurt yourself.
One thing is for sure, you have no idea about how to lay the foundation of a case.
