State media is a powerful political tool. Twitter will be more useful with Kamala at the helm than Elon. This is exactly what they did when SHE was in office and they didn't stop until they got caught and they only got caught because Musk bought Twitter. She wants to create that sort of platform again where the government will determine what are lies and what is truth.
Big Brother will do that, right? A Truth Commission department will need to be set up. Jen Psaki and Joy Reid will head it. Georger Stephanopolous will get together brown shirters to arrest the "liars" and spreaders of disinformation.I agree. It's rather sad that accountability, credibility and integrity needs be government regulated.
Butter? The President of the United States, holding the most powerful office in the world, supposedly making decisions which effect everyone on the planet, life and death decisions, peace and war, guns and butter.
Trump "policy" primarily consist of appeals to fear, hatred, deriding his opponents and the merits of dictatorship. With far better policy positions than his opponet, who is a petulent, serial panderer, liar, idiot, and tool of a cabal of unelected power brokers.
Similar to selling out our democracy and handing over the country's reigns to a deranged idiot for no more than the visceral hatred of 'Libruls'?I know many Democrats will, and that's the problem. There is no care or even understanding of the devastating policy implications presented by Harris' horrible proposals. When a party is willing to sell the country out because of their emotional reaction to the other guy, who makes them freak out and scream at the sky, well, those folks are lost.
I don’t think it matters to most folks. What mattered when it was a Biden vs. Trump rematch around 25% of all Americans disliked both major party candidates and didn’t want neither as the next president. Biden trailed Trump by 4.2 points in the RCP averages coming in with but 39.2% of the intended vote to Trump’s 43.4%. The third-party vote made up approximately 12% of the intended vote voting against both Trump and Biden. She's to afraid to do an interview by herself so she has to be supervised
And of course, the hard hitting Dana Bash will offer offer up softball questions
Its clear the Harris camp doesn't trust Kamala to go through a full hour of questions, so they are sending Walz so he can take up some of the time slot.
Oc course they have to ask him some questions which means less questions Kamala has to answer
Sorry Democrats, America can see right through this smoke screen.

VP Harris mocked for being 'too scared' to do interview without Walz: 'She simply cannot be left unattended'
Social media users called it "embarrassing" that Vice President Kamala Harris' first major interview would be done alongside Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.www.foxnews.com
So says the guy being happily fed a consistent diet of the "Truth" by the social alternative(s).Big Brother will do that, right? A Truth Commission department will need to be set up. Jen Psaki and Joy Reid will head it. Georger Stephanopolous will get together brown shirters to arrest the "liars" and spreaders of disinformation.
PS. It is already taking place in the UK where a teacher (I believe) was arrested for refusing to use a proper pronoun.
Again, and this needs to be repeated and shouted to the rafters. Twitter WAS a bastion of liberalism and then Musk took over and hired two Democrat investigative reporters from Suib Stack who uncovered the FBI infiltration of Twitter with the disgraced former FBI agent James Baker heading the Truth Commission department. That wasn't enough, however and thousands of outside FBI agents' and CISA heads with unlimited manpower to scour through every post demanded that Twitter remove posts and the posters. Any information contrary to the government position was deemed to be lies and misinformation. No, I'm suggesting that whatever political perspective one has, one has the same right of free speech as everyone else, and that one may, in fact, start one owns "press" at will, without permission or a license from the government. If you want to start a printing press, or a website, or news organization, you are free to do so. You do not need to be a "trained publisher" to publish books, and you do not need to be a "Trained journalist" to be a journalist. You do not need to be trained to be a reporter or commentator either.
Trained journalists who abide by a set of journalistic ethics and have been educated on how to write stories which are sufficiently sourced, backed up, informative, newsworthy and objective will have their work rewarded because more people will take them seriously. However, that does not mean that some jackass Democrat doesn't have the unfettered write to publish his or her views, too.
No no - Harris was referring to Musk as having some sort of "privilege" to operate Twitter/X which she believes need to be fettered - regulated - managed - governed - subject to rules imposed by the government. It should be, in her words, shut down, because he is saying what he wants, not what she wants. That view is pernicious.
X should, of course, not be given protection from defamation claims and fraud claims, etc., if it does not behave as a neutral, open platform. If X becomes the messenger, not the platform for messengers, then it should be responsible for that message. But, as long as Elon Musk acts on his commitment to objective free speech within the law, then X is a platform. That's the same rule that applies to traditional media.
As we saw with the montage of "They're weird" we have PROOF that the Rainbow House runs MSNBC and CNN.State media is a powerful political tool. Twitter will be more useful with Kamala at the helm than Elon.
You need someone in government to decide what you see and hear?So says the guy being happily fed a consistent diet of the "Truth" by the social alternative(s).
While your paranoid resistance against anything remotely government makes you ripe pickings for the conspiracy theory propagandists. You need someone in government to decide what you see and hear?
We real conservatives are well aware that far left liberals trot out the tired old "Conspiracy" claims as a showstopper when they have no answers to their beliefs being challenged and can't answer. Let me ask again:While your paranoid resistance against anything remotely government makes you ripe pickings for the conspiracy theory propagandists.
Your paranoid hyperbole - inherent to the question itself - is the essential crux of the issue. We real conservatives are well aware that far left liberals trot out the tired old "Conspiracy" claims as a showstopper when they have no answers to their beliefs being challenged and can't answer. Let me ask again:
Do you need someone in government to decide what you see and hear?
You are just like Kamala who will not answer a question. I am going to repeat it:Your paranoid hyperbole - inherent to the question itself - is the essential crux of the issue.
Your answer is a resounding laugh at the length the right will self-indulge themselves with, favoring such anti-establishment fear mongering.
My mocking answer didn't make this abundantly clear? You are just like Kamala who will not answer a question. I am going to repeat it:
Do you need someone in government to decide what you see and hear?
It appears you are not from the United States. Your use of the word "akin" is not proper English. I would say you are from Communist China, Brazil, France or the UK and possibly cheered when that guy was arrested for using an improper pronoun. My mocking answer didn't make this abundantly clear?
I'm not akin to jumping prefabricated hoops like you righties seem to enjoy.
Your xenophobic (as such, ad hominem) response is duly noted. It appears you are not from the United States. Your use of the word "akin" is not proper English. I would say you are from Communist China, Brazil, France or the UK and possibly cheered when that guy was arrested for using an improper pronoun.
Your response tells me you are not from America.Your xenophobic (as such, ad hominem) response is duly noted.
It seems to epitomize the right's platform of overwrought fear and hatred. At this point you've survived Biden's administration and two from Obama. You'll survive the Harris one.
Per the usual, your instincts fail you. Blue State American, born/raised.Your response tells me you are not from America.
You misused the work akin and also refer to me as "you" instead of saying "we". It appears you lack a strong command of the English language and fail miserably at debate and out time together here may be short lived.Per the usual, your instincts fail you. Blue State American, born/raised.
Is this side-bar your attempt at abandoning our discussion? You misused the work akin and also refer to me as "you" instead of saying "we". It appears you lack a strong command of the English language and fail miserably at debate and out time together here may be short lived.
What discussion. Refusing to respond to someone question is a "discussion"? I am seriously interested in how the minds of the extreme left operate when they assert that we should trust government. Obama said this in his crappy speech at the convention. Kamal is saying this now that Twitter needs to monitor speech and didn't say what that meant. Other than hate speech and threats and calls for violence, what speech would you like the GOVERNMENT to ban?Is this side-bar your attempt at abandoning our discussion?
Maybe, but if you look at your last link, Harris is still under polling compared to both Clinton and Biden on the same day during their campaigns.I don’t think it matters to most folks.

Fast forward to today. Since Harris has replaced Trump, that 25% who disliked and didn’t want neither Trump nor Biden as the next president has shrunk to around 10% in a Harris vs. Trump matchup. Harris has taken over the lead from Trump, now leading by 1.8 points in the nationwide polling average. Harris at 48.1%, Trump 46.3%. Most of those double haters who disliked and didn’t want neither Trump nor Biden as the next president have come over or switched to Harris. You can see this by Harris improving on what Biden was receiving by 9 points while Trump rose but 2. The third-party vote has dropped to 2% from 12%. Meaning Harris is much more acceptable to them than Biden or Trump ever was.

Interviews alone or without Waltz doesn’t matter. It a simple case of likes and dislikes or in this case perhaps who is disliked more or is less disliked. The double haters certainly have decided Harris is much less disliked by them than either Trump or Biden. They didn’t want either of the disliked duo of Trump and Biden, now that half of that duo is gone, their disliked of Trump still remains. Harris has gotten the okay nod from most of these double haters. They may not be in love with her, but she isn’t Biden nor is she Trump. That might just be enough to propel her into the white house. Interviews alone or not.
Ahhh....let's remember when a certain someone wanted to ban TikTok during their 2017-2020 tenure. When she is left alone for interviews she just outs herself as an authoritarian, anti-free-speech nut job.
Granted, this is also Tim Walz position as well.
She is the greatest threat to free speech in a major party candidate in a very long time.
