I mean, it's pretty clear Trump is a creep, but voters knew that on some level back in 2015-16 and again in 2024. His personal disgustingness isn't a dealbreaker for those who support him. I hate to break it to you but even extreme hardships won't move the needle. They'll just tighten their belts in sacrifice and keep worshipping him.

I don't know...the two worst financial crises moved the needle. America's weakness is its strength, and vice versa. Our value is money. **** with our money and whichever party's in power has a problem.

Not sure about that. The way I see it, things have to get pretty damn bad before whatever awakening is going to occur actually occurs. And then, yeah, what if it doesn't?
