I thought this was going to be crap and I'd rather not see things about trump, but this was actually good and pretty informative. It helps some things about trump make sense that are helpful.

I have always contended that Trump's older brother was his father's favorite. I believe that this is just severe psychological trauma that Trump has never come to terms with.

It is absolutely true, according to Mary Trump's analysis. His father wanted to adhere to the ancient tradition of the oldest son being the major heir of his fortune. Unfortunately for Fred Trump, his oldest son wasn't actually excited by the idea. He wasn't interested in being a real estate tycoon but instead wanted to live his own life and be a pilot. Fred Trump wasn't supportive of Fred Jr's wishes and told him that was little more than being a "glorified bus driver." The lack of love coming from his father drove Fred Jr to drink heavily and he eventually died of alcoholism. Fred Trump was left with a dilemma. His next two children were girls. Being a traditional chauvinist, Fred wasn't keen on the idea of leaving his fortune to women, so he eventually settled on the idea of Donald as the fortune heir.

Fred held out hope for Fred Jr for a long time, virtually ignoring young Donald. Fred's lack of attention to Donald as a child resulted in Donald acting out and becoming a bully/asshole to get attention, a trait he has never recovered from. Both Fred and Donald were/are so dysfunctional that neither one of them spent any time with Fred Jr as he lay dying in the hospital. Donald went to the movies alone that day. Fred sat at home. After the movies, Donald called his father and his father told him: "It's over," meaning the his older brother had died.

Donald was groomed to be the major heir of the Trump fortune. His siblings were also included in the will. Donald tried to get his father to sign a revised will leaving everything to Donald and cutting his siblings out, but even though Fred was beginning to lose his mind, he refused to sign it. Mary Trump, however, was screwed out of her portion of the will as Fred Jr's daughter. She later went on to become a successful psychologist with a PhD before writing her book analyzing Donald called: "Too Much And Never Enough: : How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man." It is a very informative read. I highly recommend it. It gives great insight into why Donald is the way he is.

Interesting comment that as Donald talks constantly and never allows anyone else to say much of anything, he is blocking out information. It's so bad that people grow bored of listening to him, so they just pretend. They have their phones out and sort of tune him out but he goes on and on. If someone gets up and walks away (because that's what you have to do with someone like that) and another person is there, Donald just turns his head and goes right on talking to the new person without backing up and filling that person in on what he has said previously. It's weird.

He has to keep talking because he does not want to listen or be expected to absorb any information communicated to him by another person. He also does not read, so the two major methods most people acquire information have been blocked out. This is why he did poorly in school and had to cheat to get degrees.

I've encountered people like this before and found no way to relate to them. It's difficult to have an exchange with someone like that. They want to dominate any interaction. None of the people I hold dear as friends and acquaintances, people in my circle of friends so to speak, are like that. I refuse to associate with people like that.

Donald is partly stuck in 1965 before the Voting Rights Act. That's clearly when he thought America 'was great.'

This is very illuminating and well worth the time for anyone who would truly like to understand what makes Trump tick.

Basically, to sum it up:

1. He doesn't read, he doesn't listen to anyone.
2. He talks all the time to prevent having to listen.
3. Whatever information he gets is from the headlines, that's it.
4. He has to have attention.
5. He has no friends.
6. The people who work for him hate him and hate one another.
7. The reason people support him is because he says what's on his mind instead of the typical very well scripted politician.
8. Supporters are reinforced through peer pressure.
9. Supporters are the type that don't like to admit it when they are wrong.
10. Supporters continue to support him even when they know he is wrong because of 8 and 9.

During his trial in New York Trump gathered his lawyers together to yell at them and said: "Have you ever heard of a man named Perry Mason?!"

LOL
