Seems kind of pointless to me, silly really. But if you want to make a statement I think might help you vent a little. If you live in Brattleboro. Should be interesting to see what the final vote count will be.

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Voters in this southern Vermont town were deciding Tuesday whether to approve a measure calling for the indictment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney on charges of violating the Constitution.

The symbolic article seeks to have police arrest Bush and Cheney if they ever visit Brattleboro or to extradite them for prosecution elsewhere—if they're not impeached first.

"Our town attorney has no legal authority to draw up any papers to allow our police officers to do so," said Town Clerk Annette Cappy, "but the gentleman who initiated the petition got the signatures (and) wanted it on the ballot to make a statement."

A steady stream of voters paraded into the Brattleboro Union High School gym to cast their ballots on a day when school board elections and Vermont's presidential primary were also on the slate.

Organizers of the indictment campaign were frustrated that the printed ballot ended up relegating the Bush-Cheney indictment article to the back side, which they said would cause some people to miss it.

I saw this on the local news today and all I could think of was - that this was a massive exercise in the country wide class called How to Waste My Tax Dollars. 101.

my thoughts exactly. it's a total waste of my tax dollars to have a POTUS and VPOTUS whom flagrantly disregard the Constitution. good for the citizens of this small town that understand that this is how the system works, and for acting despite their pathetic representatives in Congress whom are only mindful of how they'll be perceived politically.

The chiahuahua sues the pitbull. Film at 11.

This sounds like a funny plan cooked up by the Chamber of Commerce so they're not referred to as "Brattle-who?".

Yet one more reason for those of us who are natives of New Hampshire to laugh at the other side of the Connecticut River.

Yeah? Well we have better weed.
