"Vice President Vance on Sunday accused the Biden administration of refusing to release files on Jeffrey Epstein because of the financier’s connections to Democrats. “We know that Jeffrey Epstein had a lot of connections with left-wing politicians and left-wing billionaires. … Democrat billionaires and Democrat political leaders went to Epstein island all the time. Who knows what they did,” said Vance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

“I laugh at the Democrats who are now, all of a sudden, so interested in the Epstein files. For four years, Joe Biden and the Democrats did absolutely nothing about this story,” he continued.

The Epstein saga continues to be a political mess for the Trump administration, as the White House faces pressure to release files the president promised to unveil during his campaign. Trump and his allies continue to claim that they are being fully transparent in this process."

They're desperate looking for lies to save them. Bondi/trump said there are no files to release, that didn't work so Vance says Biden, who didn't control DoJ like trump does, didn't release the files Bondi/trump said don't exist.
 
We all know they all are corrupt AF and protect each other on both sides because of it. So, Trump is going to do the right thing and release the Epstein files, right?
 
Yes, Biden protected the Dems and Vance is protecting the Repubs and they both protect the other powerful men who raped children. We get it and, in the end, Vance running his mouth just highlights how currently they are not releasing more.

Or the other story which is Biden faked the files just in case Trump ever became President again… not while he was running against him… but left as a super secret trap to get Trump in case he lost.

Yes, the files don't exist, they are fakes created by Biden, and they were hidden by Biden are three of the contradictory lies they have tried. A fourth is 'they harmfully lie about a lot of innocent good people'. Guess who that is.

Its actually very unusual for the DoJ to release files from a criminal investigation.

Its only an issue now because Mr. Outsider promised to do it.

Looks like he's actually an insider.

Honestly, I doubt there is much there. But for the conspiracy driven Qanon/Maga crowd, that would be a disaster and liable to lead to even more conspiracy mongering.

Trump, as always, has created a monster. This time its come back to bit him.

I mean... if Democrats didn't release the Epstein Files because they were worried that the names of prominent Democrats would be in it, then what is Trump's excuse not to release the Epstein Files? :unsure: :rolleyes:

Of course, this is now a partisan matter, so Republicans don't bother to think about hypocrisy, or being hoist upon their own petards.

They should remember it has already been 6 years since they tried to kill the Epstein story dead and it is still unkillable. The whole story is creating new vernacular like Watergate did.

The difference is that during Watergate, we had republicans who were willing to do the right thing. Can we say that about today's MAGA republicans?

If there were still any republicans with integrity, Trump would have been convicted of his impeachments 5-6 years ago and wouldn't even be here today.

My opinion is that most of the ones with the sense and brass to do the right thing have already done the right thing and aren't around to do it anymore. All that's left are the yesmen and powerseekers.
