Utah becomes first state to ban fluoride in public water

I thought Utah was a sane red state.

There are no "sane" red states. Just varying degrees of anti-empiricist sentiment.

I do not think we are far off from some Southern states banning high altitude airplane flights and space launches on account of the belief that the sky is actually a giant carpet painted by God, and they fear that jets and rockets will crash into it, ruining God's painting and making him angry.

Dumb all over....

Huh huh... welcome to Utah y'all! Dentists always welcome!

The lack of teeth makes the measles lesions in our mouths less painful!

Gee I wonder why they would do that?

US government report says fluoride at twice the recommended limit is linked to lower IQ in kids
NEW YORK (AP) — A U.S. government report expected to stir debate concluded that fluoride in drinking water at twice the recommended limit is linked with lower IQ in children.

The report, based on an analysis of previously published research, marks the first time a federal agency has determined — “with moderate confidence” — that there is a link between higher levels of fluoride exposure and lower IQ in kids. While the report was not designed to evaluate the health effects of fluoride in drinking water alone, it is a striking acknowledgment of a potential neurological risk from high levels of fluoride.

Fluoride in drinking water poses enough risk to merit new EPA action, judge says

New York AP — A federal judge has ordered the US Environmental Protection Agency to further regulate fluoride in drinking water because high levels could pose a risk to the intellectual development of children.

Everything is bad if you have too much of it. Should vitamin A be banned because excessive use by measles-stricken RFK devotees is now resulting in vitamin A toxicity?

So we have Trump for president because fluoride lowered IQs?

I can see it.

This is the kind of decision that will only hurt people there decades from now. So why should they care?

ummmm, that's with high levels of Fluoride. That's not happening.

Read the article.
