Somehow, I don't think the Chinese would pick America over France.

How does "was bought out with cash by 'Americans'" equate to "the US" (i.e. all of us Americans, or even perhaps as in the US Government) did this thing?

Regardless, the business which made the masks decided to accept a higher bid. They could have said "No!" :shrug:

If true, this was wrong. I dont agree with reneging on an agreed upon purchase, regardless of who is willing to pay more. First come, first served.

That being said, we definitely dont know all the info here nor if it is true.

Not sure about this one even though it has been reported in reputable news organisations.

Not that I would put it past the Trump administration in doing this, after all they are lying on a daily basis..funny how no one talks about where the 51 cargo planes Trump tweeted about, are coming from.

Canada had the same issue, but that turned out to be a computer glitch with the logistics operator and Canada got what it ordered.

There's a similar case of a cargo of face masks destined for Berlin, having been hijacked at Bangkok airport and re-directed to the US. Details yet to surface but the masks were produced by 3M China who, as we know, are American at the end of the day.

The current US prohibition on export of American materials might cover this.
 

either way there actions will leave them with no allies in Europe ... when this all ends America will be facing a very different world and how will Americas actions effect NATO
 
3M is only American for now...
