Another Biden mandate bites the dust and Trump policy prevails. This will be good for America.

Mexico and the U.S. are expected to announce that they reached an agreement to restart the controversial "Remain in Mexico" program that will look "fairly close" to the version during the Trump administration

The paper pointed out that President Biden has tried to end the program, but has lost legal battles.”

The program will be ended... all this does is comply with the court order and delays ending the program...

Biden's puppet masters (Obama) don't mind. They got more than a million illegal aliens into the country.

Just like everything else this year, they do something...it gets shot down by the courts...but they keep what they've gotten done before the courts shot them down.

Is anyone demanding that Biden's pukes round up all those illegal aliens they've spread all over the country and make them "remain in Mexico"? I don't think so.

Democrats seem unable or unwilling to come up with an alternative. When voters give them the boot next year, perhaps it will provide cover for Biden to work out a bipartisan solution.

How would the GOP taking control of the house prevent Biden from ending the program?

The barn door is getting shut a little too late but better late than never . You are correct though. Biden has managed to flood a lot of illegals into America and getting them out is the hard part.

The courts will likely prevent Biden from ending the program with memos.

Just goes to show that Biden really isnt that different than Trump.

Good lord... The court ruled he didn't follow the APA, not that ending it was illegal...
All I care about is the following.

“A federal judge sided with the states of Texas and Missouri by ordering the Biden administration in August to reinstate the policy "in good faith."

Short attention span...

The Biden administration on Friday made a renewed attempt to end a Trump-era immigration program that forced asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for U.S. court hearings, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) memo previewed by officials.

The administration first ended the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) program, informally called "Remain in Mexico", earlier this year, but was ordered to restart it by a federal judge, who said it had failed to follow proper regulatory procedure.

The U.S. Supreme Court in August rejected an effort by the Biden administration to block the judge's ruling.

The new memo is comprehensive, DHS officials said on a call with reporters. It "squarely addresses some of the alleged failures of the prior memo," one of the officials said.

"It takes into account a whole range of new information that's been made available or that's occurred since June," when the previous memo was issued, one official said. The administration will seek to have the court order vacated in light of the new memo, the officials said.

Yeah and memos and EOs may not be the best way to do this anyway. Trump's policy of throwing kids into happy fun camps didn't work, but addressing boarder issues can't just be done via sticky note

That wont stop Republicans from bitching about the US being 2 feet away from full blown socialism.

A divided government, where the extremes on both parties have the least amount of power, is the best chance at addressing immigration.

Biden was already kicking brown and black people back across the border under Title 42, so I'm not sure that he is sad or cares much about this ruling.
