Trump wins again. Liberals are wrong as usual though they'll continue to show they're stupidity by insisting this will be a tax on Americans.

Expecting a big day in the markets Monday. Staying long and strong.

President Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the US and EU had agreed to the framework of a trade deal after negotiations in Scotland on Sunday.

Trump called the deal “the biggest of them all,” while von der Leyen said that the EU had agree to 15% tariffs "across the board." Details of the framework are still being confirmed.

Earlier on Sunday the South China Morning Post, a Hong Kong-based English-language newspaper, reported that "Beijing and Washington are expected to extend their tariff truce by another three months at trade talks in Stockholm beginning on Monday."

Huge win for Trump. Deals are getting done, Markets both foreign and domestic are reflecting a win-win for Trump's trade policy.

The US was always going to sign a trade deal with the EU because not doing so would be simple madness.
This was always going to happen no matter who was in charge.

The deal isn't sealed yet, things could still go wrong. But if it IS sealed soon Trump deserves the credit for it.

Spiking the ball a little early, wut?

…….US and EU had agreed to the framework of a trade deal after negotiations in Scotland on Sunday.. - from the OP link. Kinda like a concept, wut?

"On Friday, Trump said that letters dictating tariff rates for over 200 countries would go out soon..."

Why do Trumpanzees still believe anything Trump says? It's been weeks, months maybe, since Trump said that bit of stupidity and got mocked and ridiculed for it and here he is again, telling you lot that same stupid lie again.
Oh, in case you don't know what I'm talking about, there's 193 countries in the world. 195 if you count Vatican City and the State of Palestine.
Course, Trumps such a laughable dimwit he counts St. Pierre and Miquelon, the last French possession in North America, as a country.

That people are cheering paying more for things is interesting.
;)

With both the Japan and EU deals, they were basically choices between higher tariffs and additional tariffs, and for both countries clearly the lower of the two was going to be the better gamble. Of course the thing is whether the US stands by those agreements or changes its mind in a month because of some arbitrary reason. We recently had Trump threaten 50% tariffs on Brazil over their Bolsonaro trial. You never know which way these things are going to go, as we saw with Canada and Mexico as well.

LOL, yeah, you don't understand any of this.

Have the Heard and McDonald Islands given in yet?
:)

It was simple English. Far more trade deals were expected earlier this month based on this president's hyperbole. Exponentially less have been delivered and well after the deadline, with now an extension set for China. If someone doesn't like their hyperbole called out, then perhaps not making ridiculous claims is a start.

This. Thus far it appears to be the concept of a plan for an agreement that may someday lead to a deal.

That's where all of the deals are right now. There are frameworks for the ones with India, Japan, and the EU so it's not total vaporware.

Excellent deal for the US. It looks like the EU literally got nothing in the deal.
