U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu has recommended moving forward with charges against Andrew McCabe, Fox News has learned, as the Justice Department rejects a last-ditch appeal from the former top FBI official and current CNN contributor.
McCabe -- the former deputy and acting director of the FBI -- appealed the decision of the U.S. attorney for Washington all the way up to Jeffrey Rosen, the deputy attorney general, but he rejected that request, according to a person familiar with the situation.
The potential charges relate to DOJ inspector general findings against him regarding misleading statements concerning a Hillary Clinton-related investigation.
A source close to McCabe’s legal team said they received an email from the Department of Justice which said, "The Department rejected your appeal of the United States Attorney’s Office’s decision in this matter. Any further inquiries should be directed to the United States Attorney’s Office."

And so it begins. The criminal charges are starting. Heads will roll. CNN looks pretty stupid for hiring him. McCabe should negotiate a plea deal and give evidence on Comey etc.
Lying for one.So what are they going to indict him for? What charges specifically?

Lying for one.
Oh, probably having to do with the reasons he was fired: intentionally misleading investigators and lying under oath.
Yes they were investigating leaks within the FBI and he lied to FBI and IG at least 4 different times. You would know that if you watched or read real news sources instead of CNN and MSDNC or the WAPO.Lying about what? Anything directly connected to an ongoing investigation?
Nope not when its a 1001 violation. He lied to FBI agents and IG agents.Lack of candor in a internal departmental personnel investigation. That's a violation of departmental policy. Not of criminal statutes. So once again what are the specific charges that they recommending? Does anybody even know?

AGAIN its a 1001 violation the SAME thing Mueller charged PapaD, Flynn, Cohen and Stone with. Its against the law to lie to a FBI agent or a IG agent. McCabe did both.I'm just reading the report. The exact words of the IG was "lack of candor", not lying, about an alleged unauthorized press leak. Which he disagrees with. That's a departmental policy violation. What criminal statute did he violate? Why can't you tell me that? Could it be because no one knows yet? If so why not?
18 U.S. Code SS 1001 - Statements or entries generally | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute(a)Except as otherwise provided in this section, whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully—
(1)falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;
(2)makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or
(3)makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry;
shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both. If the matter relates to an offense under chapter 109A, 109B, 110, or 117, or section 1591, then the term of imprisonment imposed under this section shall be not more than 8 years.

Your lack of knowledge on this subject is amusing. This has yet to go to the grand jury so we will see if the choose to indict him my guess is they will. They have him on tape lying a couple of times so IMHO he is in big trouble.IG agents? LOL! You're just making **** up because you don't know. So what about the FBI agents ? Which agents interviewed him in connection with a criminal or counter-intelligence investigation? And just what criminal or counter intelligence investigation exactly?
Tell Flynn, PapaD, Cohen , and Stone that.Lying isn't a big deal anymore. No one cares if people in the government lie.
So what are they going to indict him for? What charges specifically?

Nope you are :lol: 1001 makes it a felony to lie to ANY Federal agent. IG agents are Federal agents. Lying to them in an investigation is a felony. McCabe lied to them on more than one occasion. He is in big trouble.IG agents? LOL! You're just making **** up because you don't know. So what about the FBI agents ? Did you say that when PapaD, Flynn, Cohen and Stone were charged with the same thing?This has Trump's payback all over it.
It looks like they may have to prosecute him without the benefit of a grand jury indictment.
Fortunately for McCabe, the justice department still has to present their case to a jury. If former agents and DOJ personnel are called as defense witnesses and they say they were pressured by DOJ leadership to slander McCabe, that could be grounds for impeachment.
Tell Flynn, PapaD, Cohen , and Stone that.
He lied to a Federal agent. That's a felony.
When did he lie to a Federal agent in an investigation.Tell Trump that lying is a big deal.
Maybe someone should have told you that Flynn, PapaD were convicted of lying to federal agents in the course of an open counter-intelligence investigation. Cohen and Stone were for lying about their criminal activity to the Congress and investigators. So for at least the 3rd time in this thread I am asking what are the SPECIFIC charges being recommended? Do you know what they are or not?
