Good job MAGA/antivaxxers.

"The United States is at a tipping point for the return of endemic measles a quarter century after the disease was declared eradicated in the country, researchers warned on Thursday.

...

No one can forecast exact vaccination and infection numbers, but the precise numbers don’t matter, said Dr. Mujeeb Basit, associate director of the Clinical Informatics Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center, who was not involved in the research.
What matters, Basit said, is the trend revealed by the study: as the vaccination rate declines, the rate of increase in measles cases speeds up.

"If vaccination rates go 5% lower, you'll have tens of thousands of infected patients," he said.

"Rates just have to be 15% less and you're at millions of cases," he added. "The trend is what people need to know.”

Morbillivirus hominis doesn't care what party is in power. It laughs at Vitamin A. This virus considers RFKrazy its best friend. Morbillivirus hominis cares about nothing but reproducing, spreading, and attacking the human body. Morbillivirus hominis flies through the air with the greatest of ease to infect anyone stupid enough not to get vaccinated you ****ing morons.

Next up, we have Whooping Cough. Bordetella pertussis also flies through the air and can live in soil as well.

Whooping cough cases rising in US, more than double same time last year: CDC

But as soon as we get rid of the CDC, very few cases will be reported and the disease will go away. You ****ing idiots.

I have a new grandbaby that won't get the shot for 9 more months and this is very worrisome. The family lives in a very granola area that was already vaccine reticent pre-Trump. If Trumpers with children start jumping on the anti-vaccine bandwagon it will make matters worse.

Antivaxxers will cause lots of deaths and it's mainly based on a discredited study.

They are idiots.

Remember in the Biden Administration when a baby formula shortage was the worst thing in the world?

Yeah… me too.

It’s also because they think that they are special and that their rugged individualism will protect them from a virus that has no capacity to care about such concepts.

fearmongering

does it really work ?
Who is fearmongering?

Measles was a thing of the past in this country.

Then the special snowflakes known as anti Vaxxers decided that they were too good to participate in public health causes and now it is back.

This is the world that RFK Jr fought for and he is now in charge.

It’s also because they think that they are special and that their rugged individualism will protect them from a virus that has no capacity to care about such concepts.
Oh how we harken back to those golden days of the rugged, unvaccinated individualists as they cried for help in our hospitals as they suffocated / died of COVID.

Yeah, none of the bad diseases care how much Fox you watch or if you believe RFK Jr. of if you can squat 300lbs.

And with a anti-vaxxer in charge it may only be the beginning of more epidemics.

Vaccines are available for these dangerous or deadly diseases. Over the years, these vaccines have prevented countless cases of disease and saved millions of lives. Infants, children, adolescents, teens and adults need different vaccinations, depending on their age, location, job, lifestyle, travel schedule, health conditions or previous vaccinations.

List of diseases commonly and successfully treated by vaccines in the US.

One can be assured that what you don't look for, you won't find. Let's all hide our heads in the sand to please trump.

The problem with the anti-vax argument is that the anti-vaxers point to the low risks today and say - "See we don't need those deadly nasty vax's to fix something that barely happens". So the anti-vax willing believers practice their stupidity with little risk because the majority of people still vax. But then that starts to change as the anti-vax numbers grow, but by the time the anti-vax people truly start to realise what they have done, we are already back in epidemic mode with 1000's being harmed. People being people however, hate to admit they were wrong and are part of the problem, so even once the problem is obvious they keep supporting the anti-vax narrative and blaming anything else they can blame. That's the way conspiracy theorists work.

Maybe that's what they have a problem with.

Yeah but they are all made from the discarded fetuses after an abortion. That's what my super religious cousin tells me...and then I just roll my eyes at her with a look of total disbelief on my face. Sad part, she's really intelligent, I think?

Seriously? Are you trying to tell us all the news about the spread of measles is bullshit? This is the kind of shit America doesn't need, the who cares attitude the right expresses towards others.
It's not just the attitude, it's also the hostility towards science. That's the real plague in this country.

👆 This. Exactly this.

Towards education in general. It's mind boggling.
This is elite liberal discrimination. The high school dropouts' and the morbidly obese TV junkies' ignorance is just as good as your education if not better. And their vote counts just the same as yours. p
