Another authoritarian statist reveals himself.I realize that scab friendly states undercut fair paying and safe jobs.
I believe workers' rights should be strengthened nationally to prevent other states from allowing the race to the bottom that we've been seeing for decades now as middle class jobs disappear while corporate profits skyrocket.
Greetings, ocean515. :2wave:
 True Democracy in action at your place of business! Let people make their own decisions about how they want to live. I understand that the people in the various cities and towns in Switzerland vote in the middle of their town square on things that affect their daily lives. While they have a central government for national interests that affect everyone, they don't interfere otherwise. And the Swiss people are expected to have guns in every home, and to take recurrent training to stay skilled in the use of same. Even Grannys are sharp shooters, and know how to defend themselves! Would you invade such a country? Hitler opted not to!
Oops, Trick or treaters are here! Beggars's Night has begun...back later.
Advocating that the balance of power between corporate interests and workers' interests be shifted closer to the middle is in everyone's interests.Another authoritarian statist reveals himself.
LOL....Texas doesn't give away the state? Why are they one of the top 9 states in the amount of corporate welfare they hand out? Why does Texas consistently rank in the bottom on education spending and healthcare? The answer is contrary to your claims con.

California has the highest poverty rate in the country.
Here is the truth about the Texas economy:

I will let my previous statement stand. You have revealed yourself as an authoritarian statist. You cannot alter your character.Advocating that the balance of power between corporate interests and workers' interests be shifted closer to the middle is in everyone's interests.
Lol... what? That's not even remotely true.
There is a reason why Texas ranks near the bottom in education and healthcare spending. They have plenty of free land and corporate welfare to hand out, but cannot fund essential services. You cite one company with good paying jobs. Doesn't change the fact that Texas is #1 in the country (along with Mississippi) in the number of people working for minimum wage.
You cannot tell Conservative anything. He just ignores facts and makes up so-called facts of his own.
The study basically says that using a different set of standards, and including the overpriced housing costs, Californians are living in a higher poverty rate.
I'm all for addressing the unsustainable housing market.
Having a huge open border with uneducated, unskilled illegals flooding across it wouldn't have anything to do with that, I suppose?
As someone who grew up in California, I have watched it get trashed. This state used to be the pride of the nation when Ronald Reagan was governor in the 1960's--the best schools, roads, hospitals, airports, public safety, state parks and beaches, etc. The defense cutbacks at the end of the Cold War hurt employment somewhat, but by far the biggest cause of the mess has been illegal aliens.
They are an enormous net drain on California's economy--just giving all their kids a free K-12 education costs billions every year. And they quickly teach new arrivals the ropes of milking every drop out of the vast government welfare system--local, state, and federal. This involves large-scale fraud that everyone else pays for. But there are so many of these bums who have relatives here that those people stand up for them. And their influence has been felt politically. In about forty years, California has turned from a thriving, fairly conservative state into a bankrupt wreck run by corrupt Democrat politicians.

It is enough that you have revealed yourself to be an authoritarian statist. You're revealed yourself to be content to pigeonholing ideologies and assigning pundit buzzwords rather than actual discourse. Was there a greater point that you had?
Radical left wing kooks do not understand that one is paid based on one's value to the company. If a radical left wing kook wanted more pay that radical left wing kook would have to learn a skill that has some value. Don't you agree?I don't know why the entire country hasn't sent all our jobs to China. That seems to make the GOP very happy. More money for the top 1%.
Screw the American middle class worker. The Chinese will do it for half the price and live off rice.
To me, there is an "us" and a "them."
Us, believes that a person who works a 40 hour week deserves a living wage, health benefits, educate their children without signing their life away for student loans, (and an occasional trip to Disney.)
"Them," believes we don't deserve squat and should be grateful for the crumbs that slip through the cracks of the tables of the rich.

You see, partisan hacks like you never admit when they are wrong, thus just ignore the responses and in a few days will come back making the same lies over and over again.

A) My position on the political compass is far from authoritarian. Empowering workers doesn't make you authoritarian. It is enough that you have revealed yourself to be an authoritarian statist.
